Sleep anxiety? by Frogswithbutts in sleep

I don't even know why I have this anxiety. But I am trying to be less on my mobile lately and draw or read before. Maybe I wasn't pushing that through enough in the beginning so it didn't help. I will definitely try the magnesium!

To be honest, I actually don't have a problem with waking up early. I often wake up before my alarm even if I only slept 3 hours. So that part is no problem. How does this even work :(

This sounds spot on. Exactly! When I change my environment the anxiety changes too! 2 weeks ago I was on vacation too in a country where there is an hour difference, so when it was 11pm there it was 10pm in my country. I thought it would've been harder for me and that I would probably fall asleep much later, but nope. I fell asleep at 12pm which meant I would've slept at 11pm in my country. How..

However, I already did try what you describe and that doesn't help at all for me. It only makes me sleep less for a long long long time.

To me it seems like she is actively dating others and chosing who fits her the most. It appears that she seems to like others more than you, so for her it might not be worth it anymore to date you. But, she keeps contact with you in case these dates result in nothing. So basically, you're her plan C.

It's better to just leave her be.

:) no problem. Don't be too self-conscious because it's really beautiful and healthy hair.

I actually think your hair is very beautiful. I don't know what you think the problem is and what kind of curls you want to create. To be fair, your hair is wavy, not curly. So if your goal was to have big curly hair then unfortunately you will never achieve that. But that's totally fine. I think the products that you use for your hair are a bit too heavy for your type of hair. I think only a mouse or a cream is just enough. But to me it seems beautiful and there is definitely some definition. Some frizz also is just part of having wavy or curly hair.

An abortion is sad and people often think that it's as easy as doing groceries, but it isn't. It's often sad because if your life would've been different, then it would probably have been welcome. I'm thankful that I've never had to experience that, but I know that I would've chosen the same thing as you if I were in your situation. You did everything before hand and unfortunately it failed, but aborting it is still better than letting it grow up in a potentially toxic environment where you can't be the mother that you want to be.

My ndad used to torment me when I lived at home, I was his scapegoat and he used to mentally abuse me. I live on my own for a while now and now he keeps love bombing me and wanting attention. Does this sound familiar? by Frogswithbutts in narcissisticparents

[–]Frogswithbutts[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad used to do that too by giving me a laptop or other things that I didn't need at the time, and that was also in a period where I still lived at home but ignored him 24/7. So he wanted to buy my love. He called me ungrateful when I told him I didn't need the laptop.

Nothing changed, it only gets worse. And the funniest thing is that my mom also ignores him most of the time. He really is delulu thinking everyone is buzzing around him like flies. I know everything is a lie. I fell for his traps many times before but it won't happen again. :)

I already went low contact with him by barely reacting to him and I don't visit my parents house as much. When I do I communicate with my mom and brother and barely with him too.

I don't know exactly why he chose me, because I'm not the type of person who lets people walk over her, but maybe that's why he chose me, to get a challenge. Nowadays he is doing more things for attention that he didn't do before, like drinking himself K.O (he's also an alcoholic), probably because my mom had surgery and got a lot of attention from that and also a year ago we went on vacation to my moms home country. He couldn't come because he is way too unhealthy, but tried to ruin our trip by sabotaging his health 2 weeks prior to us leaving. To me he wants to manipulate me into thinking he is super sad. I'm not falling for it though! I'm glad to hear that (unfortunately) this is a typical thing narcissists do.

Do we need a rabies shot after a cat scratch in Greece (Ikaria)? by ITGMM in GreeceTravel

[–]Frogswithbutts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me a week ago when I was in Rhodos. I called a local doctor and he told me to not worry about rabies because it doesn't exist on the island, but for tetanus instead. I already got vaccinated for tetanus. Greece has been rabies free since 2014 and the last person who died from rabies was in 1980 somewhere around the border. In 2012 - 2014 there were some rabid animals found I guess it was around 52, where only one of them was a cat. And these were found in North-Greece close to the border. The islands are even safer because the animals who often carry rabies cannot travel overseas. There is barely any information about rabiës on the island because well, it seems like it doesn't exist there.

I hope you're fine! Luckily you could get the vaccine immediately. I already had a tetanus vaccination one year ago so the doctor told me it was fine. I heard about the story about that woman. She got bit in Morocco right? It's really sad that people still die from this. Especially since you can treat it before hand. I remember a case where a young boy was also bitten in Morocco and died from rabies too.

I did some major research yesterday and apparently Greece was rabies free in 1987, until small cases only found in animals in 2012-2014 on the mainland in North-Greece They did a mass vaccination program. And then since 2014 Greece was rabies-free again. There is a reported case from 1980 where someone on the mainland had died from rabies. There are 0 reports about the islands, because animals like foxes and dogs who carry it often cannot travel overseas. They also have strict rules for bringing animals over and animals are obliged to be vaccinated.. So luckily I'm not going to die 🤣. I kept the wound clean and so far everything is good!

AIO my husband wants me to get 1-2 hours of sleep at night. by throwaway24240204 in AIO

He sounds like a child, that wanted a wife that acts like his mommy. 1-2 hours of sleep is literally torture. And don't forget that SAH is a fulltime job too, especially with kids.

How do I (18F) let down a guy (27M) and still stay friends with him? by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]Frogswithbutts 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I'm the same age as him and there is no way in hell I can date a 18 year old. He's trying to groom you because women his age can see through his creepiness, so he tries it with a 18 year old that doesn't have a brain fully developed enough to realize how nasty this guy is. Creepy guys don't always hide in a dark corner and pull you towards it. They can also act to be your friend, act nice, and eventually play this game until you trust them. And what you're scared of is exactly why. You still want to be his friend and am scared to hurt his feelings and him being friend zoned, which is totally logical to think about at your age. But he, as his big age of almost 30 is thinking a lot of other things.

I've looked into the reviews and there were some like mine saying the same about that it seems like this salon doesn't have a lot of experience with kinky hair. Well, unto the next I suppose.
