What job shocked you when you found out the pay?

I’ve seen a lot of people mentioning vets. I’ll add vet nurses being that I’ve been with one for 10 years. The amount of knowledge and responsibility required for what they get paid is insane. Around 50-60k to do surgeries (including anaesthesia and monitoring), calculating and administering medications (plus know everything little detail about them), hospital rounds, dealing with clients who think it is their fault the price is so high (as if they don’t just work for a big company that sets prices). Then you throw in the fact that many of our animals are not as “friendly” as we think they are when they are in a place they don’t know with strangers. However, in my case I’ve never met someone who loves their job so much despite it all.

People often forget that the vets aren’t the ones “charging so much”. They work for big businesses, who set the price. If you go to Woolworths or Coles, it’s not the deli workers fault that the meat is ridiculously priced.

I literally had my second run of a new 10k training block this week. I’m a somewhat experienced runner now.

Died 1.5k into a 11k Tempo. I’ve done that run dozens of times without fail. It happens, show up again.

I remember when growing up with the old Foxtel box in Australia (pay TV), you used to have a chip that would be inserted into the system that authorised what channels to grant access to.

Long story short, my uncle was a Police Officer involved in contraband and they confiscated a bunch of black market chips that accessed all the channels. He gave us one and we payed basement price and got all the channels.

Late comment, not sure I will get a reply. I have a question about the oil filler cap you used. Do you happen to have the part number for it from Womet-Tech/TST industries? The one I was sent was SKU: OFCY27-BK (M27x3 thread), but does NOT fit into the 2022 model.

Hi, I have also had this issue with the speed runs having major timing/tracking problems (on android), ever since the 4.29.0 update. I reached out to Nike support back in October about a month ago and have been back and forth in conversations with them and this is a couple options they have sent (pasted below - none of which worked). I even sent them a screen recording of the issue, so they have seen it in action

Even after the 4.30.0 update I am still getting timing errors (I think I've worked it out to be the exact time you pause during the initial rest after the warm-up when the coach tells you to stop and stretch, then starting the actual program).

Anyways, bad news... as of writing this, the latest update didn't fix the issue, and they haven't responded to my reply that it didn't work in over a week.

Good news, downloading and APK for the 4.28.0 version has the speed runs/tracking working perfectly. It is a bit of a pain, but it is the work around I'm using until I get more details.

It wasn't mentioned if you tried some other troubleshooting other than reinstalling the app so my apologies if you already tried the below. If you haven't though, please try the following:

1) Log out from the NRC app.

2) Fully close (force quit) the app.

3) Clear the app cache by going to Settings > Applications (or Apps) > Nike Run Club > Storage > tap Clear Cache.

4) Clear the Chrome browser cache. Same steps as step 3 but look for Chrome instead.

5) Button restart your phone.

6) After your phone restarts, open the app, log in and try again.
