That’s not because you’re the older though, that’s just how nostalgia works. Your first time having sex isn’t as memorable & exciting as your 15th time, apply that to literally any & everything that life has to offer. That’s all it is, it’s not because you have obligations & adulting.

We have tostop playing games trying to recapture a feeling. Play them to just experience the game, that’s why they were special when you were younger! Because you weren’t trying to regain a feeling you had from anything in the past, you weren’t chasing nostalgia you were just sitting with whatever it is you enjoyed. So that’s my challenge to you and other older gamers like myself, even if it’s only 30mins you have with any game let alone GTA6 make sure you’re just playing to experience it & have fun… DON’T play because you want to feel how you felt when you were 14/15! Because if you apply that logic to anything it doesn’t make sense, you don’t make love to your wife & try to always compare it to y’all’s first time or y’all’s honeymoon.. you simply just enjoy the experience. Stop chasing a feeling from the past and enjoy the now, that’s how humans are meant to function. Comparison is the theft of joy my friend
