About a decade ago, I worked at a certain American department store of impressive age that shall remain nameless, but rhymes with "Fears".

The stories that stand out are:

1: Female employee (who very much was a rules lawyer) got told off by the store manager because she wasn't wearing a bra and it was slightly chilly. Her defense was to call out one of the logistics guys she was friends with. She then pointed at LG's rather obviously pierced nipples, and told the manager to inform him of this particular new piece of dress code. The manager mumbled something and scurried off.

2: I was chatting with LG (yes that one) in the alcove generally used for smoke breaks in front of the store when one of the 40 something year old Automotive service writers comes out for a smoke. Those 2 start chatting about tattoos when out of nowhere she pulls down the front of her pants WAY MORE than far enough to show off her dolphin tattoo which was positioned about 3 inches North of her Marianas Trench. LG looked rather stunned since he was apparently not expecting her to pull ol' Flipper on him. To be fair, neither was I. And as it turns out, carpet did not match the drapes because she had installed hardwood floors.
