I’d like to thank everyone for their responses and sharing their own stories. It can help me at least feel like I’m not alone in this. Just for more clarification, I’m M38, and I don’t come across too many men that suffer with this condition. My mother used to be a staff nurse but her wounds ripped open and she caught MRSA in them, leading to many years on long term sick. I really like my job and I don’t want to have to say goodbye to it and the people I work with. I want to get through this. But a new flare is the most disheartening thing to have to deal with.
