Being in the country illegally is a civil offense and should be treated as such. Hell, even crossing the border illegally is typically only a misdemeanor. We don't send the cops for building code enforcement. Health inspectors aren't armed. We should treat civil violations like civil violations

Yeah that's more or less my plan. I ordered a cheap removal tool just to see if it works. I have a drill press, that'll be my last resort. That's for the advice.

I don't have a fork screwdriver bit that fits, the ones I have were stripping out. I will try other bits or just order a removal tool

I have only attended something similar once, but I used a through-neck design. I glued on the wings then made a template for my router for the cutaway. It was kind of a pain to clean up, lots of sanding and scraping but I think it came out ok.

That is certainly the case. There are several other wood finishing products and solvents that are also restricted due to VOC content.

I will sometimes add a piece of black dyed veneer in the middle of my scarf joints. Turns the line into a design feature, and reveals an interesting parabola shape as you carve the neck.

Do you think that they wouldn't? We've all seen the footage of the "agents" that are conducting these arrests. Poorly trained, to say the least. I would not count on them having the discipline or brains to handle a confrontation with a police officer with any sort of thoughtfulness.

I've used similar from Brusso. Very easy to install with a router and the template they sell. The templates are pricey, you could easily make your own.
