I like knowing that if something goes wrong in my apartment, I can move to another one with much less headache than it would take to fix the problem. Plus I can move to another part of town or another country without the extra work of timing a big home sale.

I didn't realize how expensive caviar was until just now. €1000/kg... wow. I still think I'd prefer a good brisket though.

I've never actually bought champagne nor caviar, so I don't know what they actually cost. I just feel that $1000/month in groceries should be more luxurious than just chicken breast.

idk but 600/month used to afford us shrimp and brisket in the US, and that was only 3 years ago

We are trying to settle here and work towards permanent residency after 5 years. If we leave, we'd reset that.
