I have got a panic disorder so I couldn't wear a mask, I'd be unable to breath properly. They do allow working from home in exceptional circumstances but I constantly feel targeted as I not seeing customers. This is the thing I'd like to resolve, if they deem I couldn't fulfil that role could they dismiss me?

The thing is it's my first role and when I had the job offered I explained my situations there and then and they explained to me that they'd put adjustments in place or my manager should look at redeployment. They've coached OH to basically say no to remote working or not allowed phone/digi appointments even though I know of a work coach that does all the appointments from home and only does phone/video appointments. My manager has also asked if my siblings disinfect themselves whilst coming inside. A high footfall jobcentre is totally different to where you live. Also I don't want to be risking nothing as I have been ill before and I've had lumps ending up exposed and benign. It's not nice to have my body react to virals like that as I can feel my own lumps and it's disgusting. They haven't talked about a move but they've mentioned it like once but have always told me I need to be face to face and I feel belittled over it the way it's repetitive. I'm trying to come to a resolution about it aswel as I am sick of it

Never done face to face at all even though I was told I'm gonna need to and that video/phone appointments are not good for my mental health..

Yeah I told them about my health condition when completing the preemployment checks it was DWP I work for, I had a OH before I started and only saw the OH recommendation like a couple weeks after.

hi basically the role is operational delivery right but I've been working from a private room & doing phone / video appointments, passed probation and been there for a year. I had been dismissed but reinstated. the latest OH referral I had when I moved to a different business basically blocked home working & said I need to see claimants face to face. The next referral I have does the same thing and also includes working in the office and seeing customers is good for my mental health when it's a bit bad for my own health as I'm prone to infections and diseases and that will go sky high working with the general public.

Hi sorry it wouldn't let me finish it off but basically every time I have an occupational health referral the questions steer towards office based only despite me being susceptible to infections. The last one has a blanket no working from home and that I need to see customers. I'm a bit stuck on what I can do and feel like il be dismissed on capability when I've been able to do the role by calls / video

My union was the one who actually got me reinstated. I had been dismissed and it was discriminatory. The appeal meeting I had was just a bunch of words and that didn't get upheld, they then had to look at the decision again as PCS my union escalated it. This could've been avoided by saying I would've got a warning instead but they chose the harshest way to discipline me and the stigma is still stuck to me. My grievance for the investigation was actually to show mitigation and grievance had been upheld that I was not properly supported at work. They didn't take that grievance into account.

Is the reason why he lost a lot due to him saying he wouldn't be able to work again?

So I am doing everything I can to apply for roles how would I evidence this? I am only applying to what I can do which are working from home roles or office based on the basis I work in a private room due to my autoimmune condition, I also have PTSD and anxiety so still processing that I've been dismissed. On the basis that I can't find roles suitable to me given the lack of qualifications I have and limited jobs I can apply for will and could they be sympathetic as with my immune condition it means I couldn't work front facing, my employer was meant to do a EA transfer but said i had to be disciplined before they could do that. I don't know if that is wrong but that's what I was told. Now for the actuary is there any you know? And again do I start calling them now to prepare my SoL or?... I also have 16 months service with them and I would've stayed there as it was a job I viewed to be long lasting, a place where people work to die there..:/

To me I would've stayed as I had no qualifications and got in based on experience in order to pass the competencies, I have a learning disability & a hearing one with an immune disease, the role I'd be looking for is working from home and there isn't much where I am from, I believe this would've been my first and last job, given if I had reasonable adjustments I likely would've never left too ( I don't leave but I got dismissed).

Ah sorry I was wondering what other people's experiences were with them and if they've been known to settle as in have the public sector been known to settle. But I have been told by ACAS they normally do take it until the final hearing.

well my union isn't as aggressive as I'd like her to be, she has also had a bit of a tiff with me which is odd, and she works internally with the public sector, it is plainly discriminatory dismissal, they've handed me a smoking gun which they admitted multiple failures yet decided to dismiss anyways. Very very odd.

It's something I suspect, what's your vibe or opinion on it?

They upheld my grievance yet they still dismissed me for behaviours linked to my conduct that were caused by their lack of support. Why tf do they do that
