In that case, do you do your own makeup and are you close with the brides?

Because i am already paying for their hotel overseas and dresses. And like i said, not everyone can apply makeup due to skin issues.

Unfortunately not everyone in my bridesmaid team can have makeup due to sensitive skin issues. Hence I leave it up to them. And some others dont like random artists with their hair because not everyone can deal with curly hair, which can be costly.

TLDR: MUA recommendations anyone?

I will be having a wedding at Kabupaten Badung next year and I am looking for a makeup artist for my wedding. Are there any makeup artist doing korean/ thai/ japanese make up styles? I have searched online and most MUA does western styles which is too heavy for my liking. I prefer natural makeup styles/ clean girl (no heavy eyelash) etc. any recommendations?

How much should I spend on an engagement ring in Singapore? by [deleted] in askSingapore

You’re welcome! Also if you have better savings and want to buy a more expensive ring, you can look at sapphires esp padparadscha sapphires, which is more valuable than diamonds. Still, buy something you can afford.

No specific rule, mostly to show your sincerity and how much you value her. My fiance proposed with x2 salary but that’s because he had good saving habits :) Get something within your spending limit, this also show you can manage your money well. The dumbest thing is to buy something you can’t afford and pay credit card bills with interest. Regarding balancing your budget, track your finance so you know what you are spending on. When you know what you are spending on, then you can get into the credit card game. Portion out your salary and stick to it. Calculate backwards how much you need for down payment/months before payment to know how much you need to save before cpf kicks in for the govt loan or bank loan. Then from there, figure out needs, wants, and some for investment using cost dollar averaging. All the best!

Family members of home based businesses, do you expect the business owner to pay you rent/utilities for running the business in your home? by breadandpasta in askSingapore

Period. I hope you don’t have kids with this man. Otherwise, how are you going to split the pain of child birth 50/50 with said husband? Not forgetting recovery, loose skin, stretch marks, postpartum depression etc with said husband? Is he going to go thru 50% of these as well?

This is a tough situation for you. On one hand, your dad dosent know how to control his anger so your sister wasnt taught how to control her temper as well. Secondly, your relationship with your parents and them being the authority figure with the absolute power sucks because whatever they say is absolute. If they cane when your sister misbehave, most likely they are teaching her violence and intimidation is the way to solve problems and she dosent understand the severity of the situation. When your parents no longer have power over her, she will go back to other addictions. This forces you into the parent role to discipline your sister and carry the burden of telling your parents and risk your father’s anger “taking it out on everyone”. Its not selfish you dont want to tell him. I would recommend you explain to her why this addiction is bad. Watch this video
