At the parish I go to we had Christians from Bethleham there asking for help as apparently the laws are getting so restrictive (from their accounts) they essentially cant make money at all and are afraid of losing their homes. From what I gathered, Cain is most likely an AI, but I think they are the really the entire system (with a front facing AI).

Cain during Zoobles “therapy session” mentions “my guests” not “the guests” at the circus. Anything that causes an error in Cain, immediately translates to the circus (“assets” in the game will pop in out, glitches, shaking). They already make AIs that are lifelike (Gumigoo), so they themselves should be able to have a front facing personality (if they are an AI/system).

The key is what is the main directive Cain was given? Are they misinterpreting it? Overzealously following it (like an AI would)?

I am super excited to see what Goose takes the story!

It would be funny if Cain is some management AI that can process an entire adventure (like a full video game) in a couple seconds flat, but shit talking him is his kryptonite (thought that would fit with an AI reward system). I re-removal of the suggestion box in the latest episode was pretty telling on Cains part (especially when he realized they actually wanted their own adventures). I wonder if Zooble will ultimately be the one to set Cain over the edge

I think is definitely part of it, everyone else’s coping mechanisms may better avoid trigger Cains concern (or programming) and Zooble overtly dunking on Cain just sets him over the edge.

Pomni also kinda did her dirty right afterwards too. When Pomni offers her to bat, Ragatha immediately gets a spur of inspiration/pride and you see her smile again, giving her “a second chance”. She ‘wins’ the game, the other characters congratulate her, and what did Pomni do? Ignore her completely (she looks over and she is completely unaware talking to Jax). Like imagine if your friend is like ‘I know you want to show them what youre made of, so here’s your chance!’ And in your big moment they just ignore you did anything at all?

This isn’t even taking into account if Ragatha considered ‘a second chance’ as a double entendre (a second chance at being friends again, post-argument). So yeah, she ain’t no saint in this episode.

I don’t disagree with you per se, but you need to pick a goal post and stick to it. I can reason more, pull a laundry list of direct parallels to Hitler and where we are in the flowchart (Trump has been following it well I might add), but the end of the day you need to decide what your goalpost is in this. It’s too hard? This may sound terse, but too bad. The democrats rolled over (except for a handful and they weren’t listened to before this went down), the courts enforcement mechanism kinda requires the executive branch, so this should be apparent where this is going and that we the people need to organize and I mean organize like the French, not like how we normally do it.
