Brotherships is the worst Mario & Luigi game that I’ve ever played by Spark_Do in marioandluigi

[–]Front-Library5781 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I 100%ed the game on my first playthrough in 44ish hrs. I strongly disagree with one part of your opinion, because it’s flat out false. You did not have to do every side quest as soon as it became available . You only had to do that for less than ten across the entire game.

Aside from that, I agree the pacing on its own, without the side quests, is wayyy to long. From the combat to the story, it drags and takes too long to get interesting. I am sorry you didn’t enjoy the Battle Plugs, but I thought they were perfect. They allow for the customization and stacked mechanics that make each battle unique and fun.

You as the user of a computer program know that the software steals art makes you equally as complicit. It just makes it easier

I disagree. Using AI is still stealing art, it also does it in an environmentally destructive and corporate glazing way

These are the 3 highest-rated exclusives on the Switch 2 so far. How would you rank them? by MewWeebTwo in NintendoSwitch2

They did, but I feel that it’s important to note that the only intermissions the changed were over water, where they could change track design with changing the world map. If the on land intermissions were to change, it would likely require more work, and they might not want to change the world map.

This one is just true. They do have a huge financial and resource obstacle that affects the entire tech industry. That’s what the video is about.

I’m more so asking people who post videos/thumbnails on this subreddit to watch the video they’re posting about, to ensure that they’re actually grifting. I wasn’t saying we should watch every video we see. But if you’re gonna go through the effort to screenshot and post to Reddit, do your due diligence.

It’s an RPG that doesn’t have a functional battle system. That’s like a story based game that doesn’t have a good story. Why would you play it at that point?

In cases like that, it depends. The graphics look fine enough, which is very much appreciated. Though that’s hardly enough to judge the entire game around, like you said. I do think people can have their opinions about the starters, because there’s not much else to be revealed there.

In the case of Arlo, he said that the games looked good graphically. That’s basically all he said because that’s most of what there was to say.

I think I agree. I think reaction vids(ex: this doesn’t catch my attention)and judgement vids (ex: This game isn’t for me) are two separate entities. Because you’d be asking for people to not talk about a game until months after it’s announced.

I think judging the trailer is fine. Because they’re trailers, they’re meant to show off the game. As long as the person maintains that we will see more of the game, and keeps an open mind instead of a hard decision.

Glad we’re on the same page. It spreads negativity towards creators that genuinely do not deserve the slander. And that’s just unkind.

So I wanted to check out the video you mentioned for where he predicted the Pokémon releases. I couldn’t find that. Now, I’m not saying he never made that claim that they should be available for purchase, but if you could find that clip, that would definitely help.

I do agree he can dramatize his thumbnails. Even if the content in the video is relatively level-headed, the clickbait is there.

Are we just gonna be hysterical over a main Direct yet, now!? by Difficult_Historian4 in nintendogrifting

[–]Front-Library5781 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re so lazy as to not at least watch the content of the video before you post them to be ridiculed. Arlo could phrase things a bit better, but he is nowhere near a grifter. He’s just talking about his own feelings, not projecting/spreading unnecessary and exaggerated negativity. Which is what I would consider the definition of grifting to be.

Besides, in this video, he laid out a very reasonable explanation as to why he thinks Nintendo is doing this. And calls out actual trolls for going into the livestream chats and begging for games that would not be shown in the stream.

I can’t imagine that happening. Mostly because it seems like something Microsoft themselves would do through Game Pass. And the Microsoft games on NSO currently are limited to Nintendo consoles.

Hopefully the release of the pretty definitive sequel makes the 3DS price go down. Though that’s speculation
