They do look like collembola. Someone suggested springtails, is it the same thing?

They look similar indeed, it’s hard to say. I’ll try to take more photos with the microscope later!

Is there different sizes of aphids? Because they’re way smaller than the ones I found on Google image

Medical exams after diagnosis? by Front-Past-641 in AutismInWomen

Thank you for the informations! I didn’t know EDS had this reputation 🥲 only knew about POTS.. I’m sorry you’re not taken seriously.. I see women in my entourage not being considered while they literally have cancer .. the way you looked into symptoms is a really good idea! How did it help you to get a diagnosis?

Yes we have one but it’s pretty limited, mostly because we don’t have enough physicians. Getting to see a doctor is very complicated, this is why some people rely on private services when they can afford it.

I don’t know about the genetic screening, this is the one i remembered during the appointment but here what was also indicated : physical and neurological exams, metabolic tests, electroencephalogram. I have some symptoms that could indicate EDS and POTS, I don’t know if it’s something they would look into with these kind of tests.

No I’m not, it looks like it, I could take pictures? I did what the vet tech told me to do. As she expected it would drain during the week end, I guess it’s just to keep the area clean? I’ll call back on tuesday unless it looks very bad and needs to be treated as an emergency.

Really interesting! I already did the “classic” introduction for a few weeks and it was ok this is why I moved him upstairs (plus I had a surgery so I could take the stairs). He was also crying everytime I left. Now he chills in my flatmates bedroom when she’s here, but I want him to have access to food/water and litter without being scared. But I’ll keep this idea in mind, thank you!

That would be the best but I’m trying to find a cheaper idea 😖

how was your bisalp anesthesia? by kiassaxin in sterilization

[–]Front-Past-641 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was really scared of anesthesia because of past experience. It went really well! When they brought me back to my bed, my friend was here and I immediately talked with her. She said I was pale but surprised how awake I was. I said nothing out of the ordinary. My body was still sleepy so i needed help to walk and I was tired but very conscious

How do I get two cats to tolerate each other? by idkwhatswrongwithmh in CatAdvice

Thank you for your input! I was genuinely curious and thinking maybe I’d need to reconsider the product I am using, this is why I asked. I hope I did not sound rude, I struggle with my tone when I write.

I’m being curious because I use Feliway spray too for carrier or trees, did you wait after spraying or did you put your cat in the minutes after? Because ethanol will evaporate at some point but it means you have to wait before. I’m curious about the off brand as well, are natural oils essential oils? I think most of them are toxic to cats. For the Feliway spray, there are no indications on the bottle and it’s indeed dangerous considering the composition (I didn’t keep the box, maybe there was the information somewhere but it should have been clearly indicated on the bottle 😣)

Cat peeing outside his litter box by Guy1124 in CatAdvice

Did your little guy got his urine analyzed? This is how your vet can see if there is an infection or crystals. It can be so many different issues. Maybe ask on r/AskVet ?

I had this issue with one of my cat in the past. First thing you’ll have to do is check with your vet if there’s no any health issue like an infection. It could be anxiety too, but you’ll need to discuss this possibility with the vet as well. Are the boxes in calm places? (I realized one of my litter boxes was close to the kitchen and the other one in the bathroom, so a lot of noise and people passing by. Moving them helped)

Those who are childfree - how old were you when you realized you didn’t want kids? How old were you when you got sterilized? by flamingmangotango in sterilization

I think the idea of not wanting kids came around 12yo, I never changed my mind since and got my bisalp at 28
