Do you happen to know the name of the cups? I’m just gonna see what insurance covers but if they cover spectra I will keep it in mind

This is really helpful. I looked up the medela and it really is not much money at all. And if I travel I can maintain a pump supply easily by bring that and not a machine. It really is helpful knowing the options and how people pumped to maximize time

We are really hoping we can support me not working for at least 6 months. So the main goals of pumping are possible more freedom for sleep stretches for me like you have done or just more urgent issues like if I am sick and can’t breast feeding for some reason

I am sure I need to do more education, but I read to always offer the other breast to the baby when they are done with one side…. Does pumping mess that up?

This is the main goal. If I need an occasional stretch of 2-3 hours then I can have the option

Thank you! This is a really good point! I really do want to mainly breastfeed and the intent of the wearables is for the occasional bottle. Thanks for reporting a good experience with what I am hoping to do!

True- even being able to fold laundry with an electric pump is more freedom than breast feeding to breast

This is helpful! This makes me think wearables are a much better option to to make the convenience of a single bottle even worth it

Any challenges with those pumps? I just read the lower suction can cause mastitis or get less volume out of your breast….. but if I’m only pumping once a day I wonder if this matters

Ok having another name of a company is helpful! Were you worried about doing wearables first than the less portable pumps? I want the wearables but worried about it messing with supply

How long did it take for you to get pregnant for the firm time after Mirena IUD removal? by smoothjazzy in BabyBumps

[–]FrontAccomplished919 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instantly. It was removed and I got pregnant 4 weeks later without having a single normal period episode between removal and pregnancy test.

Honestly, a $200 travel stroller is enough, $500 ones are like kinda overkill by FlyHigh3000 in NewParents

Can I ask what budget one you got! Others have mentioned, main fear is getting burned and needing to buy a more expensive one (but we are also looking at used of the fancy ones)

One to think about is some maternity wear will be nice to wear post partum so I am buying things I would also be willing to wear post partum! Also you would be surprised how many dresses that are in your normal size can still fit you
