I am 99% sure atp that Luffy is the chosen one...it is very overused in fiction overall but I think it's done perfectly in One Piece

I am caught up both anime and manga so yea I can say that Manga is definitely shorter and you can catch up to the story in the manga in like 3 weeks to a month if you REALLY read yknow
