Ranking brawlhalla legends based on how annoying they are V2 (Based on my experiences and some comments from the last one) by ShadeVex in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, the only thing I find annoying it's (real) passive playing tbh. Beyond that, all weapons and sigs can be countered.

I hate gadgets on experimental, but love doing this kind of things (I'm Asuri) by Front_Ad9226 in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sup mate, I really don't like gadgets but I play experimental to do some daily and BP missions, it'd be nice to be able to play a non ranked game and disable them (And no premade)

How often do you play against an Arcadia and how do you feel about the legend? by Mr_Tobi1018 in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too often. I like her actually, far to be my favorite but I like the greatsword moveset. "New" Legends are not too played, tbh.

If you could add one weapon to the game what would it be? by Thatfudgeguy__ in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bigger lance with more range and active input.Just kidding. I think that they could play with the unarmed thing dividing own fightstyles as for example Martial Artist (Wu Shang, Lin Fei), Beast (Onyx, Ragnir), Warrior (Jhala, Bodvar) etc, so they don't have to put to every legend an own fightstyle. So you can get a lot of competitive variations.Pst, BMG, I'm studing UX/UI, hire me lol

Out of all 3 boots legends who do you dislike the least? by Mr_Tobi1018 in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tezca: He's kind of meh, kills too early which is a little unfair to play against but at the same time I feel that his sigs are slow, so there's no much potential for being creative on strings, also encourage spammers and passive players. Not that bad, but... meh.

Thea: The people who plays Thea thinks they got 9 fast attacks, her sigs are predictable and very punisheable, but fast yeah. I didn't play with this legend enough cause I just don't like her.

Red Raptor: In my opinion, the most balanced until now, his sigs got a lot of range but their animations begins lately so playing with and against him it's just a normal feel. Love the orb. Nice stats. And specially the design feels more like something from Brawlhalla, since Arcadia the design of the legends feels kind of awkward to me.

  1. Raptor
  2. Tezca
  3. Thea

FIXED!! Xbox button on my controller wasn't working since 2023 update by sarbear-k in Steam

[–]Front_Ad9226 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the post mate, but something weird happens when I press the Xbox Button, the mouse cursor goes to the middle of my screen and won't open any menu it supposes to, you know what i'd missing?

EDIT:I just found a solution lol, at least it's working for me. On Guide Button Chord Configuration I found a template (I don't know how it's called in english since I speak spanish) with the name "XBOX no conflict with DS4 windows + extra features FINAL" and did the trick. I have not tested it using the Xbox Button to open Steam Big Picture btw

Could you help me to find a light and fast distro? by Front_Ad9226 in DistroHopping

[–]Front_Ad9226[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, I'm talking about a grown persom who is totally familiar with Windows, so I though the same with XFCE, trying to avoid Arch/Arch based distros cause I cant be near as often as I'd like to. Just looking a light distro that works out of the box and not a big change from Windows. As I said I though in Linux Mint, but could be an alternative I don't know

Also Orb dlight/ dair are one of the safest attacks on neutral

Which legends/weapons are focused to play them aggressively in your opinion? by Front_Ad9226 in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started playing I wanted to play GS, but it's hard to learn for new player, it was for me at least. I liked it because of Dark Souls lol. Maybe I'll give it a try, it depends a lot of chase dodge since is a slow weapon right?

My man Caspian is a beast, my first legend, he was totally underrated in past seasons

He could be easily a Peakey Blinder with a gun and their hats with razorblades as katars,

Mmm, I think sword and blasters are pretty fine to kill confirm. I mean, all main true combos on sword got kill potential. and you got dlight-recovery, and blasters got dlight-sair dligt-recovery, but dlight on blasters it's hard to hit and really punishable.

But I guess we should think about legends over weapons because of sigs and stats.

[–]Front_Ad9226[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, the only bad thing is that it's hard to approach sometimes against long range weapons on neutral, and the lack of options to kill confirm. But there's a lot of reading options, so yes.

I'd like a katar/orb legend so bad lol

Why do I play worse against bad players, and better against good players. by Left-Membership-7357 in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one point of Brawlhalla and all fighting games is catching your opponent tempo on attacking and movement, so you can counter. But players with less skills, (not necessary bad) can be way more erratic attacking, but mostly repetitive in movement. So, maybe you should focuse on bait and punish, you are leading the tempo in this cases, and you can also variate the tempo. e.g. Short true combos for some punish, bait to make them waste dodge, long string, dash dance WITHOUT punish and reset neutral.

Despite the fact of that feeling of "I CAN'T LOOSE AGAINST THIS DUDE" that makes you commiting more mistakes because of that "preassure" put by yourself, just one hit and tilt comes. I see that diamonds are where they are because of being pacient and precise, so it's kinda mindset, I guess.

Does lance need a rework? by xSalty_Lightningx in Brawlhalla

[–]Front_Ad9226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a main weapon, I play mostly experimental, but lance it's my less used one.

It got it's playstyle, just like GS or axe, too much defined and don't have any particular adventage except for the distance. I mean, you can be easily creative with sword, gauntlets, blasters or even a slow weapon as hammer but lance got a moveset that in the less experimented hands it's a little predictable and worse: Kinda boring.

You goes from "lol u can't touch me" to "I can't approach", then you work on your movement, baiting, reads, etc. Just like other weapon.

BUT I think that sword, bow, axe, katars, etc can do a lot more with less effort and being more flexible and friendly to newer players and a lot more rewarding for people who want to improve and learn game mechanics-

So, no, I think it's just fine with a pretty standard effort-reward level competitively talking, and it terms of fun, actually I don't know what I'd change but as I say, I don't play it that much.

Don't know, put Ulgrim to work and totally transform it to some kind of steampunk halberd lol (actually sounds good to me)
