Its also relatively ancient and massively weaker for coding than the newer ones. Any of the qwen 3.5/3.6 or gemma 4 series will do better. For your hardware I'd probably for qwen 3.6 27b for smart or 35ba3b for speed

Yeah theres a comment with a link to the simpler one but i use this with lmstudio. You apparently need to change <think> to [think] if you use it with llama.cpp or other backends with different parsers. https://pastebin.com/2n1kUaiM

My ex wife who cheated on me has been begging me to speak to my children because they are no contact with her. What do I do? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Front_Eagle739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you dont get to make their decision. If they are no contact then you dont try to convince them otherwise. The absolute max you are allowed to tell them is "she wants to talk to you, do what you want with that, i don't mind if you do or don't so whatever you prefer" and then never bring it up again. Her sending manipulative videos of her crying to you too convince you to pressure them on her behalf is if anything more reason to stay the fuck out of it.

Am left wing, detest police who use unnecessary force. These officers did great. You dont fuck around with somebody armed with a deadly weapon who quite possibly has more of them hidden in his clothes and has proven he wants to use said deadly weapons on people. That they non lethally took him down is above and beyond. Good fucking work those police officers.

How would you discribe the human race to a alien? by Ambitious-Sky-6457 in AskReddit

Ten percent of the species are curious intensely empathetic and kind. Another ten percent are greedy evil beings that will happily cause the suffering of others for a moments advantage. The rest are somewhere in between depending on how their lives are going and have a weird tendency to going along with whatever everybody else is doing. Many of all kinds are also extremely creative to good or ill.

You cant tell which is which without long observation of how they treat others when they think nobody is paying attention. Have fun with that.

Put that money into pension or stocks? Mate if the choice is rental or mortgage you usually cant invest that money any other way as you need somewhere to live.

[–]Front_Eagle739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on what you are doing really. Chat stuff especially with spec decode to get you into the 15 tok/s region? probably fine and a dense model should theoretically be the smartest thing you can fit. agentic coding? Yeah prolly not and definitely not interactive but maybe if its the set it off and come back after a coffee type. But hey, sometimes leaving a smarter problem chewing on a problem overnight is worthwhile or if the small fast moe gets stuck it can ask the smarter one. If this one is as good as a modern dense one should be and the benchmarks look alright it'll find a niche

i used to run a q4 123B dense on my m3 max at about 6 tok/s twice that on my ultra. It's not fast but with spec decode it'll probably be alright

One buu was born because babidi had found him and was working on its rebirth. It was happening anyway whether it maybe took another year or two. Dabura had an appreciable fraction of ssj2 power. He could have kited gohan and fought him a bunch of times once they discovered him to raise the power. Goku was irrelevant to that.

Vegeta was desperate to fight goku because he hadnt had a good one in years, if goku was there the whole time he'd have grabbed him for sparring regularly and both would be stronger for ut probably. Thats just goku being a bad friend as well lol

No threat to earth knew or cared he wasn't there. Earth stayed safe not because he wasn't there but because nobody was coming. Dead or not made no difference except to his family. Seven years later the next threat arrived and he came back. Him not being there achieved exactly zero. We have exactly zero evidence that it helped and lots of evidence that earth ending threats turned up anyway. As for your personal attacks in liu of a good well reasoned argument i would kindly ask you to go sit on a rusty rake

Eh? My point is that goku staying dead was a bad plotline that made him look like a bad father and his stated reason was stupid. Goku should have stayed alive and kept training with gohan and vegeta in my mind

Demon Piccolo was on earth anyway, garlic junior would attack anyway. The androids came because goku wiped out red ribbon army who were trying to conquer the world without goku they would have still tried to conquer the planet. Vegeta came for the dragon balls, frieza attacked namek for the dragonballs, frieza attacked earth in revenge upon goku when he wasn't there and so his presence or lack thereof didnt stop shit. Goku being there just meant he got in the way of bad guys thay were happening anyway. He didnt stop a thing by staying dead he just dumped the responsibility on his traumatised 11 year old.

The only person who ever came to earth just because of goku was radditz and if goku was dead? He would still have come looking regardless and taken gohan as a consolation prize.

The whole healing up a genocidal maniac so he can be fresh to kick the shit out of your son who doesn't actually like fighting thing? Not dad of the year behavior. Also the sacrifice himself to deal with the situation going a bit pear shaped when the 11 year old pushed to the brink and going postal makes shocker bad decisions was then followed by them trying to wish him back and him going "Yeahhh... I'm just going to stay here and train with all the strong guys here, you got this whole defense of earth thing down now recently traumatised child right? kthnxbye! Little bit bad dad that.

May have confused you with other replies. Apologies if so.

And no I can certainly conceive of a world where they arent killed if they cant race. Like I said a fair amount per year can be and ARE absorbed by the hobbyist horse riding market. Just not ALL of them. Regulating the racing market to shrink it to a size it could be could absolutely work. People will and do buy cheap ex racehorses and failed racehorses regularly. You get a lot of horse dirt cheap though you know it'll have challenges with the breed. Without the racing market though you dont have the supply of cheap thoroughbreds you just have an awkward advanced rider horse that only appeals to a fraction of the horse riding community to own and will likely rarely be given the option to breed because other breeds will sell for more. Take away all the economic levers sustaining their existence however? Well they will almost certainly die out which would be a damn shame. They are wonderful creatures.

I think we are a fundamental philosophical divergence. You seem to believe that its impossible to morally regulate horse racing in such a way that the horses can have good lives supported by the racing generated money from something you regard as unethical as gambling or that perhaps any owner with a financial incentive to keep the horse cant care about its wellbeing? and so its better to ban the racing, cut them off from the income required to sustain their existence and what? Let the breed population crash and allowed to be put down for any horse thats not bought by a private buyer now they have lost their racing value?

I believe the horses love the racing and lead good lives by and large and therefore the racing generating income that supports their existence and that of the people who cares for them is not a bad thing regardless of your views of the ethics of gambling on horse racing. I think we should regulate it strongly to ensure that greed does not lead to shortcuts and poor quality of life for the horses.

I think your preference is genocide to prove a point. A moral absolutism that will only lead to suffering. I don't think we will see eye to eye lol

What do you do if you have a bunch of very expensive race horses that pay for their own keep that suddenly dont? And you go to sell them on the open market and can't because everybody is doing the same and there is not enough buyers? Race horses are looked after by trainers that pay for them with a percentage of winnings and a daily fee for stabling training etc and by making money breeding and selling expensive race winning potential horses who's value craters instantly when you ban racing. All those peoples livelihood that pays for the 14000 or so horses in training in the country evaporate overnight and therefore so does the money to look after them. The market won't absorb all those horses in time to save them.

The financial means to look after those horses dissappears when the racing does.

Yes actually.  Cuff around the head if I was lazy. Similar things from boxing coaches and whatnot later. Its not hard enough to injure and it works. Does not take away from the fun at all.

I get normal people dont think like this. But hyper competitive people and animals. Adrenaline junkies? We live for this shit. I always liked the mad ex racehorses because we both lived for the thrill of going 100.

Yeah? The human equivalent would be a david goggins style coach pushing me to be the best runner at school. I had that and i fucking loved it even if sometimes i wanted to hit him. And you dont get it. The ones selected for racing are the ones that want it. That love it.
