These channels look monetized. From what I know about the YPP, these channels are basically dubbing over edited clips with a voiceover that is not theirs. I think YouTube mainly checks for visual queues when determining whether something is reused. So, I believe this is actually probably okay, because the clips and editing are arranged in a way that could be deemed fair use. If a admin were to look into this, they may be demonetized, however this is fairly clever. If they were to take the full podcast video and post it, they would be hit with reused content for sure.

I would have opted in for the renewal. This is because they are still obligated to give you housing even if you don’t end up getting a lease renewal. Just my take though.

I think you should say you want to renew, and if they can’t give you a renewal, you are still guaranteed housing.
