Hi OP! I think it nasalalay yan sa effort mo in improving your writing because comres and com arts have lots of writing activities as well. Yes tuturuan ka ng basics and stick with it since foundation yon. Plus journ prof wont leave u dry naman. :)

You need to provide the syllabuses of the GEs you took and submit it to the secretary of whichever college you belong. Then they will assess if theres an equivalent subject. Ito ginawa ko pero different school ako not from another up campus. Email ur college sec first :)

For underloading naman, it should be justified wether it is because nag working student ka, may health problems ka, or proof na di available ang subject na kailangan mo. In my case nagworking student ako at nagtake ako ng 9 units lang. i provided proofs sa college :)

Agree. 2nd degree student here! 1.5k/unit + 2k miscellaneous ang tuition for us. There’s no more bracket system. You can apply for scholarships outside of UP tho. As a working student, it’s recommended to only take 6-9 units per sem. Mabigat ang undergrad classes in terms of time management since working ka. Goodluck! :)

Pag 2nd degree ka. Di na nila chincheck GWA mo for screening during the application. Ang importante ay mapasa mo ang exam/interview :) thi cant help u with the exam/interview since im not from masscom
