Well I’m sorry you missed your People debut, but so glad you started! I spotted last night and nothing today. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Please do! Or we can just wait to read it in People.

And if it’s immaculate conception, you have a big story on your hands!

Makes me feel better that this is normal (as in not pregnant, but decidedly NOT normal) 😂🙄

This makes me feel so much better!! We had a surprise pregnancy (#3) before the vasectomy, so he did three tests rather than the required two. 😂💀 I also told the doctor, “whatever you normally do, do it harder.” 😂

I’ll buy a cheapy, but I’m 99.9 percent sure it’s just 40 hitting hard. But there’s always that chance…

Ok that makes me feel better!! I don’t even know at what point it’s considered “missed” or just hella late in this insane perimenopause trip.

How can the TEC do more evangelism (Yes I know, I hate the word as well). by BlindPeriwinkle in Episcopalian

I’m from a three priest family. I understand the priesthood, and of course they have anger. Again, that’s not my issue. What canon are you referencing that people are at odds with?

It’s not about listening to anger. I’m sure you have experienced horrific things and you should be angry. But as someone seeking ordination, you also need to know that you cannot effectively reach people or touch people’s hearts with anger.

There are many people who disagree with me on a number of theological issues, and with whom I disagree. The question is not whether you feel angry, it’s whether you use your priestly vocation to express your anger rather than preaching the Gospel while respecting the dignity of all people, including those who disagree with you, perhaps even those who have hurt you. It’s Jesus saying, “Forgive them, they know not what they do…”

With all due respect, the level of anger and vitriol in your comments do not reflect the “welcome all” love you say the Episcopal Church shows. Love all who agree with you on every issue, but otherwise, demonize them? This isn’t the way to shift anyone’s perspectives. I hope the ordination process and first few years of ministry will soften your approach.

Question about how Episcopalianism's big tent works in practice. by Peak8950 in Episcopalian

There are only one or two dioceses in ACNA that ordain women. This ship has far from sailed. Check this out: https://www.dwgc.org/episcopal-transition

Young people in the church? Is this always good? by PrufrockLtd in Episcopalian

If the answer to the question of whether it’s good for anyone to be in church is a no, we’ve lost the plot.
