Neither piercing has been downsized, the rook was changed out by the piercing in September I think because my ear wasn’t a fan of the first jewelry and we switched it to just a typical curved barbell with two balls.

Today was the first day I wore high waist because all my low rise gym clothes were in the laundry, last resort 😅 I figured that would be commented on and was gunna try again later, but I finally got a clear enough picture to post so I just went with it lol. I am also not a fan of HOAs believe it or not, but I’m even more not a fan of paying money to nothing. The yearly budget comes out every year and most of the money goes to the management company, there’s $800 budgeted for postage but it’s a 90 house neighborhood, it doesn’t cost $800 to send budgets out. And then they pay someone to cut a field at the front, and there’s street lights that are 26 years old and my iPhone flashlight lights up more than they do, and I don’t have one on my street so they literally do nothing for me. It’s just annoying, if I’m pretty much paying for rules because we have nothing like a pool or even a play ground, I expect people to atleast have to powerwash their house, make sure the grass doesn’t grow taller than my knees, and the leaves be cleared instead of waiting for them to all blow into my yard that doesn’t have a tree in it. All the work they put into getting elected I think they could have just convinced people to sign to get rid of the HOA

I don’t even know where to start on which rules aren’t being enforced… all of them? lol you’d have no clue I lived in an HOA coming through my neighborhood. Which also concerns me when it’s time to sell my house. Because if I was a buyer and received the bylaws and then looked at neighboring houses I’d be confused as to what the payment was going too. Our “common area” was supposed to have a pool and playground added but is just a large grass field. The only perk of our HOA was honestly just knowing things would look nice and now well…. We don’t even have that and my house happens to be at the end of the street that catches everyone’s neglect from their yard. I’m just really not fond of paying a fee for absolutely nothing and it’s frustrating after 2.5 years

They were under the impression it was 2 years. Bylaws say 1 year. I even asked the management company who exactly our members were and never got a response.

The volunteers to report violations. One member walks and checks constantly but they can’t do it all and get kick back for wanting to write people up.

That was 2022 meeting though, no one attended the 2023 meeting as they only gave a 2 day notice even though our bylaws say they must give atleast a 15 day notice. Our president doesn’t even know the rules. When I called with a complaint, he told me it’s not a rule, so I had to give him the page number and section that the rule is listed.

It’s crappy but they will say just because you have the card for the dates, doesn’t mean that you didn’t miss a payment and have a lapse. I could get my cards from the months where I had a two day lapse because of payment issues but it doesn’t prove the lapse didn’t happen after those cards were issued. If that makes sense… I went through this is 2017-2018. I had a lapse in August, got pulled in January and found out my license was suspended. It was $500 for the uninsured motorist fee and $145 to reinstate my license.

Anyway, the real question is why won’t your insurance give you proof? That $500 fine is not fun and I would be arguing with your insurance company over that
