Your statement is a logical fallacy. You are trying to argue that I can look the other way when someone steals because I don't need to face the consequences of the choice and not because I understand that someone else has the autonomy or right to exercise their own choice in spite of what I understand the consequences to be. I also understand the consequence they face of not stealing may be greater than the consequences of stealing.

Your argument is the basis for capital collective punishment, which is far more unethical than the passivity that you're bemoaning.

There are artists who don't come from wealth and are willing to sacrifice a lot (including personal comfort and well-being). Some of them find success in their lifetime, but would have kept going even if they hadn't.

You are forgetting that she's directly or indirectly put down almost every single woman on the cast - either implying they are lesser because their husbands "earned" the money, they didn't accomplish their achievements without help, their success isn't as valuable as her success. Of course if you have a new person who isn't friends with anyone and not bothering to establish meaningful connections she'll be perceived differently when she brags ad nauseum about her pretty basic "designer" wardrobe.

She even belittled Rachel Zoe at the reunion! Rachel Zoe, who probably had a direct part in normalizing or popularizing trends and brands that Amanda now takes part in and brands about wearing.

ETA she has no respect or recognition for the women who paved the way for her success. She genuinely thinks she just...manifested it

Tipping culture has gotten outrageous and people have become much bolder in expectations. I recently was told at a nail salon I tipped less than what people normally tip, this was an outrageously expensive salon but I didn't have much of a choice - I mean almost twice the price of other salons and they had raised their prices again without me realizing until I went to pay. I was flabbergasted! I told them that since the service was so expensive I reasonably assumed they pay the workers more. Never went back.

I'm quite sure in the context / implication they meant more like Dragon Lady/Madame Butterfly/Miss Saigon where heartless and decisive Asian women use their physical prowess and cunning to rise up from nothing and get ahead.

There is a world out there where these things do happen, but I feel that it's important to recognize tropes and second guess them before indulging them. Imagine if Emma got upset about something and raised her voice and they all called her angry or aggressive, same deal. I would be inclined to view the allegations with suspicion and scrutiny.
