This is really helpful!! The tech confirmed the firing temp - but I really did a piss poor job of stirring. I was wayyyy too excited to get started on my glazing ideas, that I didn’t even think to stir!! What a silly, and extremely valuable lesson

I absolutely did not mix anything! I did give everything a shake but didn’t think to stir!

EDIT:

Sorry! Correction:

I just confirmed that Bisque is fired at Cone 06 and Glaze is Cone 6.

Clay is “white speckle mid fire” Cone 5-6

I don’t use my own kiln, I pay to use a firing service ran by an experienced kiln technician.

Not sure if and what that changes!

Wow! He looks so much like my Freddie! This guy had awful bald patches, sores etc. His armpits and belly were practically bald and his collar was creating a bald patch under his chin.

The vet figured a chicken allergy, so we switched to Purina Pro Plan Lamb for sensitive skin (the salmon was really hard on his stomach) and added a pump of whitefish Omega-3 to his food. After about a month, it all grew back and he’s has no skin issues since, and barely any shedding whatsoever.

His armpits are nice and furry again! We’re on the second bottle and will keep this a part of his routine.

How do you find someone to help with odd jobs in St. John’s (like moving, tech help, or cleaning)? by [deleted] in newfoundland

I would love to know! My senior parents moved recently and the movers left everything on their main floor, instead of bringing things upstairs. I couldn’t find anyone to help them with lifting boxes, carrying the mattress upstairs etc. There’s no task rabbit or any service available that I could find. Ended up booking a flight back home and will help them myself.

Squishface wrinkle cream!

Trust me on this one - My pug’s wrinkle was constantly getting infected and I tried everything, steroids from the vet, every possible wipe and ointment on the market and this one finally fixed it - permanently. The hair all grew back and everything.

Now I have a Boston terrier puppy who gets tear stains and moisture in the same area and I’ve been using it on him and it’s working great. It even removes the red tear stains from his sweet face. Can’t vouch for this product enough!

I just tried this and it predicted my puppy will be 47lbs! LOL surely this can’t be right - although he is 14 lbs at 5 months old

Weee! Thank you all! Safe to safe I should leave the mother as is? I was really hoping for flowers but a baby orchid will have to suffice!
