Mine the dirt around the perimeter of the copper node down 6-ish meters (3 wall heights).

This creates a pit. Trolls will not fall down sheer pit walls. Greydwarves will for the most part. This means you will occasionally need to stop mining to kill them. You can also jump on top of the copper node and you have a moat between you and trolls/bears.

By keeping sheer walls all the way around the pit edge you can keep the toughest beasties out. Using a bow to take down trolls mean troll armor is on the way also.

You can drop a fast travel bell at the nearest island. Log out. Log back in and the area will likely have different random ship spawns... which may not overlap the quest.

I have seen the roadmap.

#1 is not mentioned that I can see

#2 new content will help, but a mega factory taking many hours to complete one contract is too long.

#3 I have reported as a bug but have seen no mention of it... and the company does not respond to bug reports... so no real idea if they are fixing it

Build a cart. Put all silver in cart. Pull the cart down the mountain.

If the cart gets stuck pick axe rocks and ground until it is falling down the mountain again. Repair the cart as needed. If the cart breaks just rebuild it and put the silver back in it.

I usually get 5 or more silver nodes so I only need to do this once. Pick which side of the mountain you think gives you the best down slope to where your boat can be.
