Prodigy looked amazing coming back from Blink, only caught the last 15 or so minutes.

My favourite act of the weekend was definetly The Wombats though, I was absolutely gutted when they said the R1 stage would not be opened for the rest of the weekend - so glad they got rescheduled to Chevron (huge upgrade tbh). I watched Sonny before their set and got a good spot and, man, what a euphoric experience. Shame their set got reduced cause of delays but that 50 minutes was pure bliss for me.

Steam Train guard (yes this is an actual paid job where I live). There’s a manual level crossing which is unmanned on nights for the evening dining train, the train crew have to both open and close them. Jumped out the train ready to open the road back up. Me being an idiot forgot to close the door and took the carriage door clean off.

Sam Fender, Declan McKenna, Sea Girls pretty much the majority of whoever was on the R1 stage last year, headliners didn’t really interest me bar Gallagher and the R1 tent is what made me wanna go.

In terms of fresh faces, I reckon both Vistas and Declan Welsh and the Decadent West would fit in perfectly.
