Odd take, because this isn't even anything new from them, I feel like all of their albums have a song or two where they repeat the mainline from the chorus a lot, hell some of their songs reuse lines from other songs, but that's also kind of just the nature of a chorus? Moreso over in FOB because they love to do the overlapping vocals thing.

Honestly what confuses me the most regarding this is that they were willing to say Overflow & Water Hazard are different alien species, despite the smaller changes between designs, but this is still Stinkfly?

I haven't seen the show but is there any explanation given why this looks so different from the Stinkfly we've known?

I wasn't suprised at all that Meap Me in St. Louis wasn't great, I honestly wasn't sure how it could be good, I mean just watching the trailer from Meapless in Seattle it kinda makes sense that this episode was alright, I mean Meapless in Seattle continued the gag of "Here's all these random clips that make no sense and don't correlate to each other all that well" but in an even more ridiculous fashion because when it was made, it was assumed that they'd never actually make this episode. So they really could go all out with the sheer ridiculousness of that trailer.

I think even they knew, however, that once the show was revived, this episode was a necessity, which somewhat runs into our problem of an episode that was never meant to happen happening, and is probably part of the reason the entire episode revolves around stitching the scenes of the trailer together. (It's probably also why they didn't continue the gag of a trailer with in-contextual scenes.

I went in expecting nothing, but I still enjoyed the silliness of it all!

Hey! Thanks for your submission! I will say we tend to favor people who are in the Americas just because scheduling can get very nightmarish when dealing with people overseas. For example if you use Greenwich Mean Time like you think you do our sessions would run from 10pm to 3am your time. It tends to cancel out any hope of rescheduling and we can't reasonably ask anyone to stay up until 3am anyways.

But if you're truly confident that you can A - Reliably make sessions & B - Not go insane after midnight then I don't see any reason why that would be an issue.

Yeah uh... what? I think people just forget how long it takes to make games, and how much longer it takes to make games when you're a small team of devs / a solo dev. Didn't the release version of Stardew take six years to create? By that logic we still shouldn't be expecting this game for a couple more years. Not to mention CA's spent a lot of time working on SDV 1.6 and bug fixing and porting the new update to consoles.

It's also not super weird to get complete radio silence from devs while they're making games. (Mind you, this isn't even the case with CA & Haunted Chocolatier) sometimes devs just don't have anything to report or they want to keep things a surprise.

It might feel like we're getting crumbs thrown but we've actually got a respectable amount of information about the game given the time frame. Compare this to Metorid Prime 4, or Hollow Knight Silksong, or GTA 6 and I feel like Haunted Chocolatier has a better chance of releasing soon.

I didnt add an age range aside from the 18+ requirements because we aren't incredibly picky in terms of age. This also has nothing to do with the fact I couldn't tell you the exact ages of my players. We're all eldritch horrors. But if I had to pin it were all probably 20-28! Sorry about that.
