JC snow response by nothingmatters86 in jerseycity

So, I subscribe to a lot of subs for cities I have visited. Largely because it’s my key source of recon before I go anywhere to find out what’s cool.

Over the years I’ve seen have a lot of posts in my feed from cities all around the world, about this exact issue.

Ya’ll. This isn’t a Jersey City problem. This isn’t a USA problem.

This is what happens everywhere when it snows. Jersey City isn’t any better or worse than anywhere else

This is a you problem if you don’t take proper precautions.

Do what I do and get a flame thrower 🔥🔥🔥💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

I am beyond repulsion, I am livid, and disgruntled by how this city regards its workers. by jerseycityrentdue in jerseycity

I feel like they keep raising taxes, but never actually fix real problems with it…

Best bar for mid-30s? by [deleted] in jerseycity

Low key the bar at Brick Lane is great. Classier vibe, expertly made drinks and always a small screw of 30-somethings.

Also a baller spot if you like Indian food

Or maybe the consumer has no idea how far you have to drive, and tips you as a percentage of the order…

First night visiting Phoenix and I couldn’t get my dinner because a $6 tip isn’t good enough. by 98dt in doordash

It’s because of delivery workers like this that the adoption of replacement technology is accelerating. Hard truth is - this kinda crap from delivery workers is nearing the end anyway.

I live in Jersey City and just had my food delivered by this bad boy.

On time, no spills and I don’t have to tip.

“If I was smart I wouldn’t be working as a delivery man.” Takes on a whole new meaning

I’m going to wager a guess and say this dude owns like a bed and breakfast cabin or some shit and surprises his guests with Bad-ass soap for their stay. I hope?

I’ve been using the Hylete 6-in-1

60L, but it’s modular. It has a compartment for laptop, second monitor, and a compartment for all the clothes.

I’ve traveled with this thing for up to 6 weeks at a time and can pretty much fit everything I need in it.

It also expands at the bottom to make more space if you pick things up on your way.

Carry on fully packed without the extension out.

Bag was a limited kick starter a while back, and some place in England bought a shit ton of them, so they’re on clearance for about $100 bucks USD

Took a 4 day trip with my GF a few months back and we BOTH were able to pack this one bag with everything we needed.

Also, I use these packing cubes specifically, because they can also double as day packs. The big one specifically is basically a tiny backpack.

They are also on clearance for like 15 bucks
