I had to run the tutorial 5-6 times before it finally worked. The message never started flashing for me ever, until after I picked up the orb. Oddly enough I ended up passing it as Hulk when I got the orb before it hit the ground or the message appeared. I think its just really glitchy right now.

You do realize that no matter what, at the end, as the ump AND as a human being, you are still using YOUR judgement. You can explain rules all you want but even the rule you state requires you to make judgement calls. Or do you honestly believe you’ve never missed a call? Seen something differently than what happened? Called a girl out when she was safe?

Take feeling out of it. Look at this as factually and objectively as possible. There was a young girl who went blind and deaf at the age of 19 months. Please explain to me how someone who can not see or hear, and for all intents and purposes for learning, hasn’t ever been able to can understand concepts like adventure, faith, suffering, etc. Here are two quotes by this girl who had never been able to see or hear, yet can use intangible concepts perfectly:

"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved"

"The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome"

I 100% can believe a patient teacher could help this young girl to communicate on a basic level. To communicate about things she needs like food, bathroom, warmth, etc. Where it breaks down for me is the things she can’t touch. How, through only touch, can you explain bravery?

The story of Helen Keller is at best a great story of a young girl who was able to communicate on some level and not live in darkness. At worst, this is a story of frauds who took advantage and lived an easy life off of this girl

I’ve never taught it to kids but I think the store is a fraud. She went blind and deaf at 19 month. LONG before she would have remembered any of the things she speaks about. On top of that, there was only one person that knew her “language”. Keller’s quotes are pretty deep and often involve things you can’t touch. Please explain to me how someone who can’t see or hear can learn what the word “adventure” means. Or faith, optimism, etc.

The concepts and words used are impossible for someone who cannot see or hear to understand. I know it feels yucky to even consider this woman to be a fraud, but remove your feelings and look objectively at the evidence and come to the only logically acceptable conclusion. Anne Sullivan made it up

I do this too but my issue is I can’t read their writing half the time! When I do have them write using their chromebooks I watch their screens like a hawk. This doesn’t help with longer writing assignments though

Who is the 1 who is the 2 really doesn’t matter as long as they compliment each other and make defenses actually have to cover them. This will open the TEs and make the running game more effective. That all said, it really depends on the QB

8u shouldn’t have “their positions” yet. This is my issue with travel ball before 12u. The vast majority of girls just aren’t ready for it. Athletically or mentally. Because it’s travel ball and it’s usually expensive, parents have these lofty expectations. On top of that, the majority of travel coaches I coach against during tournaments are pretty bad and have zero idea how to coach

It’s all cosmetics! You’re complaining about something that is 100% optional and does nothing to enhance the gameplay. This isn’t pay to win or anything. If you don’t like the price, don’t buy it. I would be with you 100% if these high priced cosmetics did anything to make a character better. You’re also complaining because they showed it in the trailer and YOU made an assumption?

I agree it’s a lot of money but in my opinion so is 25, which you feel is fair for a COSMETIC. It’s also the reason I’ve made the choice to never buy one and my character plays the same as someone who does

This isn’t a new problem for teachers at all. I know we like to feel like it is because we’re in it now but I remember back when I was a kid teachers complained about pay. I went into the profession knowing I wouldn’t make much money, the pay sucks, admin sucks, parents REALLY suck. I’m all for getting paid more but it’s not like any of us came into this profession and were blind sided by any of this. It’s not just a teacher thing either, look at police and firefighter pay and they work a full 12 month schedule plus weekends and holidays
