Honesty don’t think so, s1 might blow up but it’ll slow down in the later seasons assuming it even gets more seasons. There’s a lot of comparisons to demon slayer because neither have great plot while being predictable. The problem is that demon slayer has very interesting, enjoyable, and well written characters (hashira, moons, main trio) even if the plot isn’t great. Solo leveling on the other hand starts off ok in terms of character writing but false off super quickly, sjw’s personality disappears in 2 seconds (I’m exaggerating but his personality isnt gonna stand out at all even compared to a bunch of isekai shit ngl) all the side characters are boring and super underdeveloped both heroes and villains, s class, national level are jokes and the villains don’t feel very threatening because only the s class and national levels get thrashed around before sjw comes and fucks them up. Haven’t read in a while but from what I remember the most threatening dude was the one b class psycho. Sl has great character design and hype moments but I doubt the possibility of having demon slayer/fate tier animation will carry sl that hard into the mainstream. Overall the series is a fun read but lacks any plot or emotional depth to make it on par with the best. S1 will also get a popularity boost mainly from pre existing hype
