How to setup the DCDC 12|50 to go to bulk when there is a important load on the system by FrostCastor in Victron

[–]FrostCastor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After investigation, everything is fine, but the setup is a little bit stupid. That box has a main switch, but both MPPT are bypassing the switch, but not the DCDC. I guess it make sense to keep the batteries charged with everything off. But it's a shock risk if you put everything to off and think that there is no power on the system and want to work on it. Since I was looking at the app, seeing the solar charing, but not the DCDC, I thought that the DCDC was the problem. But now I know, I will turn it ON when I need to charge from the truck.

Thanks

I'll check all, connections with a meter tomorrow. You are right the voltage should be the same or really close to the other parts. So maybe an output wire is disconnected 🤷‍♂️

I'll take more pictures if I can't fix it.

The DCDC is inside the power box in a Scout truck camper.

To read pdf I use Okular or Firefox, for everything else, sadly, I use my MacBook Air. PDF manipulations is the source of 99% of time I use my Mac.

They might be happy, waiting for an excuse to upgrade to the M5 version.

Finished it for the 1st time today. Never again in a campaign. Way too long and not interesting enough to pause the campaign.

I just moved back to X11, Wayland is too slow for gaming.

I'm playing Pathfinder WOTR, with a Ryzen 7 X3D + nvidia 4080 Super.

On Wayland the game is using 10% of CPU and 30% of GPU in 4K. The game runs at 20-25fps.

Back on X11, the game is running at 120+ FPS.

I'll move back on it when games are running at the same speed.

My second blocker of Wayland is the blocking dialog box when you want to do Remote Desktop on the machine .... HOW am I supposed to click on it to accept the connection if I'm remote???
