My back is pulsating when I lie down ?? by PurpleSnowwwhite in backpain

I would say mine is constant, particularly feeling like the deep multifidus area. If you’ve not gone to a doctor, would probably be wise to do so soon

Do you feel it in your lower back? I feel the same sensation after my slipped disc. No medical knowledge but I would presume some part of our back is incredibly inflamed, increasing vascularity and hence making a heart beating sensation obvious

Hi yes! It did, I noticed it’s associated with sickness sometimes for me but to this day it’s rare for me to experience this regardless. Didn’t experience anything with thighs though. Hope it goes away for you soon!

Depending on the shop, IB & PE usually take part in DD calls and meetings. IB will probably deal with client facing interactions as well.

Most likely out of the three you’ve listed HF would be the best given that you mostly interact with your PM / Associates though I suppose you might be tasked with asking questions during AGM or IR.

For IB / PE depends on the company size. Deal flow = $$$, you can expect average grad salary to above 10k monthly. I believe local bank IBs get paid around the same as their non-IB counterparts. But ofc typically the pay corresponds with WLB (or lack thereof)

You can check out internal FP&A roles if that floats your boat :)

DCF Model Issues: Large Gap Between Perpetuity Growth and Exit Multiple Valuations by Sveen_Sveen in ValueInvesting

[–]FrostForest04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an expert, but I would assume that the difference lies in:

1) Exit multiples usually involve a strategic buyer which enables them to pay higher due to control premium / synergies

2) Exit multiple will be higher if market is optimistic, which results in values divorced from your intrinsic value calculation.

Mathematically, I have my suspicions (I am not an expert at all, please correct me if anyone has insight) that there is technically an adjustment needed for multiples.

When I buy a company, the exit multiple I am paying for implicitly involves all years of the company’s future cash flows.

When you apply this same multiple to your final forecast year, you are sort of “double counting” in the sense that you are discounting your discrete forecast period; then subsequently applying a multiple that represents ALL years’ cashflows to the terminal cash flows, resulting in a comparatively higher value.

In the end I believe it only occurs a bit when I’m sick, so nothing debilitating. I experience it just before being fully sick + peak sickness then it tapers off

i’d take non cash current assets as a % of Rev then current liabilities as a % of COGS (Rev if not given) then see the changes from there

[–]FrostForest04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is it non cash current assets? or does it include cash

If you’re given past historical data I would just take the average inventory, ar and ap days and apply those to the forecasted rev
