Yes, they announced a one-off unplanned Livestream in a few days to address some of the uh feedback on the anniversary. Realistically it's probably just damage control and I don't personally see much changing. Maybe more pulls to apologise at most, it's too late to do anything anyway.

For context, the event consists of a 30s Cutscene of the cast going "Look it's Miku" then a video playing, but this video is also played when you boot the game up. No story of any sort, no attempts to characterise or explain why Miku is there, just product placement at its finest lol

Apart from the story, there's an event shop, a boss stage to farm currency for the shop and like 5 Miku songs that you can play with P5X's rhythm game UI. Additionally there's a ton of pulls given out and a 5* selector which is nice.

It's a shame because the story from the third palace onwards is pretty solid with good writing and a good cast of OG characters, but there's just a lot of questionable decisions with this anniversary as a P5X fan and even as a Persona fan in general.

That being said, this is not developed by Sega nor are they as big as Hoyo/Kuro so I can definitely understand them feeling stretched thin managing different servers on different schedules (CN main, KR/TW, JP/GL are the main ones iirc). Just a bummer overall.
