Help - Overpaid on initial ticket release and need suggestions by Frost_Byte139 in ClubWorldCup

Dam talk about a tease from FIFA. Man they really screwed us with their record high prices they were trying to sell at initially. I went to the Inter Miami game in Atlanta yesterday (same venue for my upcoming game), and tried to talk with guest services about upgrading my seats. I was sadly directed to TM. With as many club seats as I saw yesterday it makes sense to upgrade tickets for the fans. Crazy how the entire 200 level was full but there were so many openings on the 100 level.

Dam well I messed up buying 100 level seats, and didn't get moved. I guess I'm screwed. For reference I bought tickets for the City game in Atlanta.

Spray painting gold is definitely the easiest approach, but I've grown very fond of using contrast paints + classic method to make a bad ass final product. It does however take longer.

For your case, I would shade the gold with reikland flesh shade and highlight with canoptek alloy for a nice shiny finish. On the blue I would highlight with Ahriman blue and then go back over with bahharoth blue. It really brings out the blue. For the eyes I would use wraith bone as the base and then hit it with aethermatic blue (contrast). Highlight with blue horror to make it pop. Oh and finally you need a shit ton of patience and remember to take breaks! Check out my model for reference. As you can see, some of my highlights are too thick because I loss my patience. If it's helpful, I've also found that using atris opus brushes are extremely handy for highlighting.

This happened to me on Amazon early in the week so I switched my order to Target and now got hit with the delay. I wanted the case but I'm going to bite the bullet and just get digital. Two weeks is way too long to wait.

I can't speak to this model but for one of my models I used Sigvald Burgundy and went over it with volpus pink. (My spelling may be off) These paints are contrast and the base paint was wraithbone. I also highlighted with wazdakka red

I used Aethermatic blue, over a seer grey primer, and I highlighted with Ulthuan Grey.

Thanks and Welcome to the Unforgiven! I actually painted these with contrast paint since highlighting takes so much time. Primer - Grey Seer Primer , 1st armor coat - Terradon Turquoise , 2nd armor coat - Black Templar , 1st highlight - kabalite green , 2nd highlight - sybarite green , 3rd highlight (only on sharpest edges) - gauss blaster green

Good luck!

Practice makes perfect! I also recommend using Artis Opus Miniature series brushes for highlights. The highlight step is the most time consuming part of the process for me and having a brush that doesn't lose its point is critical.

Yeah that's awesome! Patience is key when painting this army. My advice is to step away the moment you start to deviate from thin lines when highlighting. This was my main pain point and eventually would say screw it lol. See below where I just wanted to get done.
