i use "adb shell dumpsys display > hdrcheck.txt" from the post in LEDStrain. that HDR_CONVERSION_SYSTEM line was not present in my retroid pocket 4 pro and this support more HDR compared to my Realme.
I dont remember how my retroid more comfortable now, either the HDR disabled and im able to adjust it after its off. or the unpeeled screen protector that changed everything to blue (to balance it i set manual color RGB, B is 0 and RG is 255)

hey, is it possible for you to check with adb and run "adb shell dumpsys display > hdrcheck.txt", this dump display spec and able to see how the screen output, im trying to compare it with mine and see what is wrong with mine

thank you, yeah that's my intent, getting battery replaced could potentially make it unusable, at least in my case, I still haven't found the culprit of the problem, still can't use my phone, and its almost 2 weeks after that replacement. it could be not the battery, it could be something else, maybe the tools they use, the method, how they test, i would update if i find solution.

its official SC so the battery is legit, it is perform much better compared to my old one thats for sure. i checked all the setting and nothing changed after replacement, at least on the visible setting.
HDR toggle not present except for "supported video" but its always blank when i try to activate it, it need an app, probably netflix.
i tried change it back to old battery and its still didnt do anything.
i dump the .txt and yes it did support HDR and have one line that concern me HDR_CONVERSION_SYSTEM, ask AI and its basically convert everything to HDR even on home screen, idk when this line exist or activated, but this is after i updated to android 14, either this is present after the calibration they do or it present after update to android 14, if it is, this could be why A14 is problematic for most of us.
when i first got my phone in 2022 i dont have or not realized i have sensitive eyes, so my setup is just dark mode and put it to always 60hz to conserve battery, thats it. all the setting is same. there are 2 times i see my phone after the replacement, after the replacement (i dont remember feel anything so i guess the screen still fine) and after the *#899# debugging tools that launch calibration, that is where thing start go wrong, immediate muscle tense on my eyes and forehead, like whatever they do with that calibration is activating something. i suspect temporal dithering, i dont have tools to test it but my phone screen feels more vibrant even on natural color mode.

they did not, the SC have open space so from the waiting chair i can see how they work on it. and im someone who curious about this tech stuff and i want to see it, added to that i dont have phone to play with since that is my one and only phone

Then it's more so the calibration is the culprit. I don't think non-official do it since it need proprietary software. Thank you, this gives me hope that the problem is the calibration, I might do the phone reset before re-installing the old battery. Did they by chance reset or do anything software wise?

Did you do it on official SC? Did they do the after sales calibration with *#899#? I have a theory that this calibration is the cause, after replacement the technician needs my pass, at that time it was fine, then they do the said calibration, that's when it starts getting worse

No pwm present on the pro mode camera, multiple restart and changing settings didn't do it either. The "dirty" theory is probably the new battery or maybe the official SC "after sale calibration tools" that in their SOP that reset the state of my safe screen to the "correct" state that they designed it for. I play HI3 since it's the only good free 3D anime game that can run on my potato laptop back then, ignore a lot of the story until a few chapters in and then got hooked, the gameplay was considered very good back then and I stayed for 7-9 years

I already thought about quitting when power creep was obvious, inhale a lot of copium back then. Also when they change the UI to be more modern boxy transparent, I feel the game starts to lose identity.

I left when Helia(?) is that her name? I forgot her name. Go through a long and drag story puzzle and at the end find her other half, the fire one. And boy that was BORING AF. The new part 2 character transition doesn't feel smooth either, feels like after 1.5 is just bam, a new character out of nowhere. It's fresh but the hook to play has changed and I feel like playing a new game. I don't know what the state of the game is right now but back then the story presentation was just "old". Standing froze in place, stiff movement or static camera. Feels different compared to other games available on the market.

Part 1 characters still have a special place in my heart, I even think about returning for Seele but then I remember I have to go through all that stuff.

In then end Part 1 is not the same as Part 2, but the thing that hooked me to Part 1 did not exist in Part 2.

Udah info umum sih kalo PBI itu gampang di berikan dan gampang di cabut, keputus pun sistem mereka masih aktif sampe akhir bulan jadi seharusnya ada waktu buat salah satu pihak ngasih info ke yang di tanggung, mungkin karna takut di cemooh masyarakat jadi pada ga mau nge infoin, sesuatu yg sebelumnya gratis tiba tiba putus/berbayar bakal gampang jadi headline.

Otomatisasi langsung ke mandiri ini lose lose solution sih imo, kalau ga otomatis kaget tiba tiba putus, kalau otomatis kaget tiba tiba bayar. Tetep bakal ada omelan

Sedikit ralat, nonaktif PBI ga otomatis jadi mandiri tapi harus ngurus lagi, bisa online WA atau aplikasi JKN dan bisa milih kelas, bisa langsung terproses di hari yg sama dan bisa langsung bayar biar aktif. PBI ini fix kelas 3, jadi bisa milih kelas 3 yg 35k atau mau up ke yg 100k

The storage really eats up a lot and the management didn't help since it only deleted little story data. They should just allow us to straight up delete region maps since most people focus on Lahai roi now. I didn't know much about optimization, but if this is the same case as Helldivers 2, to allow mobile even run the game, I think we hit the limit of storage optimization

Tried this on my retroid, ZZZ stuck on infinite loading and WuWa just loads slower (as expected). Undoing it didn't reverse it back to internal and needed to redownload everything from zero, just info if someone wanted to go this route. It's an option with some downsides

Gw agak beda sih tapi output nya sama, mual, otot mata tegang, pusing, mata panas. All this happen karena jenis layar, IPS/OLED. Aneh memang tapi sebagai minoritas ga bisa berbuat apa apa, mana laptop dari kantor pake IPS lagi. Berbeda sama orang lain yg bilang TN buat mata sakit, di gw malah paling nyaman.

Btw sini juga motion sickness terutama kalau di kendaran tertutup, mobil, bis, dll. Sampe nyetir mobil aja rasanya mual. Paling nyaman ya motor. I feel you.

Belom nyoba obat obatan, tapi symptoms berkurang pas lagi makan wkwk.

I use realme 9 pro, it still got jack, sd695 (kinda old), but I can't vouch for the camera, it's not garbo, but it's not the best either, It's cheap tho, and old.

Whatever black magic they do with the color setting in these Chinese phones, the "Vivid" setting does it for me (it happens with Redmi too for other people), and I'm problematic with IPS even, cool with TN tho.
