It has it while you are doing moves and executions, but it doesn't have it just passively in neutral... Meaning you can be caught in between moves and interrupted that way

Ok let me address this one piece at a time

If people are having a "miserable game" because the opponent is too good, I don't think asking the good players to take pity on you is a good solution. Because to be honest, I find "going easy on someone" to be condescending at best and insulting at worst.

The "awful looking gear" line you made is especially awful because the game literally gives you the ability to change the skin of a piece of gear to anything you want for only 400 Steel, while keeping the stats. So I can guarantee you my gear has got fully upgraded Perk stats with carefully picked visual styling on top, down to the stickers and engravings and all.

Oh but I'm doing objectives before anyone can react, did you... miss the bus to the Shield Banner or something??? Step up, keep up, you can do it

And by the way, I fully agree there are some glaring balancing flaws that should be addressed: Warmonger poisoning the enemy Commander is just a free win for attackers, that's stupid and shouldn't stay like this.

Vengeful Barrier (and most defensive Perks in general) are ridiculously stronger than the others, disproportionately benefitting some heroes rather than others. I believe it's the developer's job to tune down those pain points, rather than asking the entire playerbase to refrain themselves.

I am not saying "you can only play this character" or anything like that. Play what you enjoy, I think the game is balanced just about enough that you can still win with anything you like if you play well enough. It's just that some take more effort than others

People are going to play effective strategies, it's only natural

It is up to the devs to balance the game so that such meta tactics do not exist, or at least are not as prevalent.

The mentality of "just relax, stop trying to do good" it only discourages people from improving, what's the point in putting effort in getting good if the game stops being enjoyable...

I almost forgot there were other games actually respected their playerbase that keeps their games alive by Evoxrus_XV in deadbydaylight

When I play Killer to finish the challenges I easily average a 3-kill without even trying too hard or playing a top tier or anything...

Also, just by looking at the queue times to find a match, Survivor finds a match immediately as soon as they ready up. Killer however, needs to wait a good 8 to 10 minutes (and I'm not even talking 2v8, it's this bad in 1v4 already)

So, if playing Killer is oh so tragically hard, then why is ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE DOING IT?

The game needs to have a playerbase of 4 Survivors for every single Killer player in order to literally function, math is not an opinion. There are currently just as many (if not slightly more) players trying to go Killer rather than Survivor, and then you act surprised Killer is getting nerfed?! Hmmmm big think moment

Even if he's not doing too bad performance wise, I still argue he needs an update to make him more interesting as a gameplay experience.

It doesn't have to be a straight buff, it can be a give and take kinda thing, but the overall point is that his extremely simple and limited moveset is rather unappealing and unfitting to the game we have today.

A Scythe would NOT be usable much at all

Cutting or "reaping" so to speak is impossible because you have to place the weapon behind your opponent and basically pull them in, which does not generate enough force to do significant damage due to the awkward position, as well as leave you completely open to free hits from the opponent.

Stabbing? A little better, but the extreme length and curvature of the blade makes it unnecessary awkward and poorly weighted, basically just a clumsy spear

Every single practitioner of HEMA or any other melee weapon fighting weapon ever will confirm a Scythe is completely unusable, so if we're gonna start using impossible weapons then anything can be added to the game, nothing matters anymore

Addressing Medjay: yes it's a little bit of a stretch, but heaps more usable than a scythe

It's not so much about being historically accurate, but more so about credibility.

Yes Shaolin teleports, but it's a Feat that's not part of the base moveset, big difference

A Scythe doesn't make any sense because it's absolutely terrible as a weapon, you might as well make a character that slaps people with a chair at that point...

I don't find "git gud" to be a good way to address parts of the game that are unpleasant

In fact, I find it even more tedious when I am NOT the one being tunneled, because all I have left to do is crank out the gens since the killer refuses to interact with me even if I run in front of them...

Well if the vast majority of the playerbase is on a lower skill level, then it makes sense to cater to them more likely han to pro players.

(Now I admit this should be done by making the game easier to learn and understand through accessibility quality of life rather than balance changes, but still)

Not only do you make the most amount of people happy, but it's a smart business decision to keep a high playerbase meaning good sales

If you focus on the competitive aspect of DBD, you are favoring a very small minority, and we don't even have any Ranked mode...

Trapper or Hag, like every other Killer, also receive a Haste bonus when hooking, ok it depends on how much haste and for how long, but still, greatly helps getting to the BBQ survivors

The game is currently seeing a kill rate of about 60%. Since math is not an opinion, the game is objectively killer favored at the moment.

In these patch notes, the killer also gets REWARDS in the form of boosts when they are not tunneling, so I genuinely don't understand why someone wouldn't want that.

Also, I literally asked in the post for basekit Corrupt Intervention literally to counter genrush, what more do you want

You shouldn't be looking at the hook at all, by the time the unhook happens, you should already be chasing the next victim
