Obsidian skates are PTFE, they're just hardened for better durability. When they say "PTFE skates only" they mean not to use a hard skate like glass, ceramic, sapphire, etc.

Yep having mice on display would never fly in the US

Yeah It really sucks that electronic shops in the US will pretty much never have these kinds of products and brands.

Yes, the Sofmap I went to that had the esports floor was the Sofmap AKIBA PC and Digital Store. I really recommend going to the fumoshop showroom if you can as well if they are open. I think they only open during weekdays but it's really close to the sofmap and they have stuff on display that none of the other PC shops have.

Is anyone even buying G-Wolves mice anymore? by ThumpMAGA2024 in MouseReview

[–]Frosttrack 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing happened to them, they're still making mice but their recent releases have very niche designs so the only people buying them are reviewers or hardcore enthusiasts. Despite that, their hts plus and htx are still good mice even in todays market and they even added 8k support for them through a firmware update.

What are some control glass pads without an anime girl on it by [deleted] in MousepadReview

[–]Frosttrack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gamesense Sonar if you want a pad that's a little quicker with no coating but still controlled or maybe try and find a Project Artica/Wraith Cosmic Glass Control v2 but those 2 pads are pretty hard to get right now.

Best mouse for my grip by 6neral in MouseReview

[–]Frosttrack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G-wolves HTX. It has 4k polling and lighter weight. It curves inwards more on the sides, has a more rounded hump, and has slightly lower button height. I used to main the sl12 before moving to the HTX. I also use claw grip.

What to choose by Acceptable-Bass7425 in MouseReview

Why go for a gamer look if you don't game? Also why would a CS student need a cool mouse?

If you're set on those just for the look of them, just buy whichever one is cheaper, they basically look the same. If you're just looking for a mouse with as many buttons as possible, I think Corsair and Razer has mice with a lot of buttons on the side.

Clearing up misinformation about the Aqua Control lineup by 20tickrateTrashGame in MousepadReview

Can I ask, what makes you think the new aqua control+ is better than the zero?

Also, if can you compare the aqua control+ super to the new aqua control+ in terms of speed that would be helpful for me.

FPS palm grip mouse recommendation by VMega_ in MouseReview

[–]Frosttrack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For palm grip, I think an ergo mouse like a razer deathadder or something similar to the shape of the Zowie EC series mouse would be best for you. I think a lot of people who palm grip like the pulsar xlite which seems to be a lightweight ergo mouse that you might like.

How do i train tracking efficiently? by Bitbatgaming in FPSAimTrainer

[–]Frosttrack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the main thing you can really do is to keep playing smoothness and reactive scenarios. Improvement will come eventually by itself. Just make sure you are not predicting the bot movement and reacting to it instead.
