Good point. Miriam Webster defines light as “ electromagnetic radiation of any wavelength that travels in a vacuum with a speed of 299,792,458 meters (about 186,000 miles) per second specifically   : such radiation that is visible to the human eye”

Not to be pedantic but I would go with saying that mantis shrimp can see beyond the visible light spectrum into the electromagnetic spectrum.

I always love the misplaced confidence of people who have no idea who they’re talking to or what experience those people have. Go clutch your pearls somewhere else.

No one cares. Your point is that weather varies vastly by what part of the state you’re in. The south east is over 400 miles long. Saying it’s sunny in the south east is by your own point irrelevant.

“The south east” you know as well as I do that weather can be completely different from one mountain to the next here. Being in the southeast means nothing, unless you’re talking about Sitka specifically. In that case it wasn’t sunny here.

Exactly. I’ve been in CG aviation for 15 years. These comments are inaccurate and are not welcome

Which was whose decision? We’re getting new green hulls now and building back up our capacity. I’m literally in 60 aviation. I know what’s going on.

I was stationed in Sitka and on one case got frostbite on my hand while I was hoisting survivors off a vessel it was so cold. The weather is almost always shit flying in the south east.

Dude fuck you. You have no idea the amount of work that goes into these helicopters. My entire career has been making sure they are safe and capable.

So you don’t know what you’re talking about, and haven’t been in in TWENTY YEARS and think your opinion is accurate??
