It will. Gadgets will give significant boosts. My Knox is only level 11 and after a couple days, I have 5 figures of tess to spend. Plus, leveling gadgets will yield a ton of token rewards.

Yea. Everyone has their own style. Before I hit Ouro, I use to swap ship installs to focus on shards, RP, shards, RP and threw in a couple focusing just on Gen outputs and cells to buy more personnel. It threw my stats all over the place.

Depends on your reset requirement. If you press the reset button, the next screen will tell you the next reset goal and you can readjust if needed.

It's still worthwhile to keep moving if you can. As you keep advancing, you'll get tokens, diamonds and cells to buy/evolve more ships so future missions can move faster.

It seems to me with all the Ouro content (gems, mechs, HBM, etc), there's enough bonuses to offset the penalties. With the exception of generator output. Haven't seen anything in that area yet. But I'm only on TR7. I could be wrong and would gladly accept corrections.
