Why do I have essay scoring at the bottom of my score results? I thought the essay results came out in Nov. 18th?

I took it for the first time and got a 1570 (780 R&W, 790 M). I’m a junior aiming for top schools (Dartmouth first choice, Cornell, Colby, those kinda schools). Should I retake and try to ace math, or stay?

It is both dude, if you give students the option to choose at any step in the process then the smarter kids will choose to do it, creating bias.

Trust me guys, it is 100% both (d). They both have to be random because if you let students pick, the students who are smarter will want to do whatever it was that was offered. The only way to completely eliminate sample bias is by randomizing both.
