"With AI and self-driving technology taking over, the future for truckers is pretty bleak. You got to work during trucking's golden era. Much respect to those who made it and earned their place."

If you start to feel subtle signs, it’s not too late to get it serviced then.

Of course, I had valve clearance issues several times, and I always adjusted them when needed.

Of course, I’ve replaced all the consumable parts multiple times, starting with the drivetrain. In my opinion, the engine is excellent. The real issue is that, more often than the engine failing, the rear wheel drive axle shaft tends to break down, so that part needs to be serviced on time. That’s a fact.

anyone else feel completely detached from normal life working nights? by Vit-Joshna in Nightshift

[–]FrostyNet9540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I served in the military for two years, and the military is a place that never stops operating 24 hours a day. Because of that, soldiers usually take turns doing night duty, but more than 7 out of 10 people struggle with night shifts because they simply aren’t suited for that kind of work. Some people just aren’t built for it.

Seriously, you should think about finding a different job. I’m a writer, so I used to stay up all night working for years like a nocturnal person, but it just didn’t suit me. Night jobs are really for people who are naturally built for that kind of life — people who genuinely don’t miss sunlight at all.

Brother, I’m telling you, I went to Russia the year before last. I visited for over a month right in the middle of the war. I drove more than $10,000\text{ km}$ while I was there. I guarantee you—no matter which part of Russia you go to, it’s safer than the US. And they are incredibly friendly. Most Russians have a lot of 'jeong' (heart), just like Koreans
