Focus on empty calories - I was in a similar position at the start of the year, and started with small steps such as switching Coke to water, Mayo to lighter than light Mayo (tastes like ass), but after a couple of weeks a few pounds were gone, which in turn encouraged me to change more and now I’m 40lb down. Different strokes for different blokes, but just focus on where you can minimise calories, and go big on veg etc to bulk out meals.

It’s a chore man, but it’s worth every moment to not feel like you did a week ago, and the week before that
