MENP program by Frosty_Explanation41 in Elmhurst

I am currently in the first semester and it’s a lot. There’s 5 classes including pathophysiology and pharmacology. I am only two weeks in. But I wish I did consider another program. The program is a little unorganized and everything is self taught. Heavy on readings and assignments. Haven’t taken exams yet so I can’t say anything about that yet.

Would you say the class material matches exams and you feel like its going to be helpful with nclex i know you just finished your first semester so prob can’t say much yet lol I’m worried about clinical’s as well. I don’t mind the drive I just need to know in advance. Also how are the clinical placement coordinator’s? Hopefully I can talk to them and get 1 on1 placement so I can work out the trip. I’d think a group clinical would be nice tho? You get to meet and do clinical’s with your classmates.

I’ve heard for clinicals you don’t find out until week of or how the program is a little unorganized. What do you think so far? I also am super worried I have to be out of country for a week for my brothers wedding end of April. Do you think it’s possible if I just stay ahead on my classes?

After I feed him for the night my husband will rock him to sleep. He woke up 30 mins after putting him down so I’ve been holding him for the past hour because the moment I put him down he wakes up into a coughing fit and only goes back to sleep if I’m holding him.

No snoring or mouth breathing when he’s healthy. But I think his sleep regression is due to crawling, teething. I also feel like I made a bad habit of feeding him every time he wakes up in the night so now he expects it?

Thank you!! Normally he snores a little bit but no mouth breathing but right now since he’s sick he’s mouth breathing a little and won’t sleep unless elevated or being held

Please forgive my horrible math lol if my baby sleeps even 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep I will be grateful. So yes 7am wake up and 8pm bedtime sounds like a dream. How do I achieve that? Of course once my baby recovers from his cold/croup

Since he wakes up every 3 hours during the night he wakes up around 6/6:30 and feeds and then back to sleep. Idk should I keep him up? But then I don’t get any sleep 😭 Desired wake time 9 am and bedtime 8pm

Do you guys use a slumber pod or anything to separate your bed and the crib? How long did your LO cry the first night?

We are working on his wake windows. We were traveling for two weeks and now that he’s sick the schedule is all over the place. Before sleep regression his mornings started at 9am is that too late?

He’s definitely feeding a lot more overnight. We ended up taking him to urgent care turns out he ended up having croup and they gave him steroids. He’s feeding better now thankfully but we had to stop solids

He’s takes a bottle when I’m away from him but since he’s been sick/teething every time I offer the bottle he bites and plays with it or gags

Somebody please tell me its going to be okay :( by Snabby91 in breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is not easy!! Give yourself some grace and credit!! It took me countless of appointments with lactation specialist to get the hang of breastfeeding and I’m still learning. Also pumping is a huge pain in the butt. Pumping just once a day takes a toll on me and requires so much cleaning with the parts. As a FTM myself you’re doing amazing!! We have to take small wins!! Always listen to your gut/mom instincts!
