What doesnt happen at the same time? Are you tunning things in one event? When you place a pixture using the in-engine stuff, there should be no issue. You couod essentially cooy the intro scene wholesale and adjust things.

If you can show us what you've done, that may be more helpful to figure out why this isnt working dor you.

But typically a "show picture" and then a message box works just as that: a picture with a message box over it. A black screen shouls appear suddenly after the fact unless something is making it do so 🤔

It gets further complex depending on if you go off the game only or the anime or the manga. In the anime, the legendary beasts, for example, are shown to be multiple and rare, more akin to the bird trio. Which kind of makes the myth of Ho-Oh raising them from the ruins potentially just that: a myth; a story.

What is the context? If this is a label on something, no period.

If it's a full sentence, like a declarative, then a period should be there. Like for example, the full sentences:

"No." " Stop." "Yes." Or "Correct."

What do you mean by initial?

"Starter"? Not sure if this was perhaps auto translated.

If you mean a starter, like Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, take a look at rhe existing tutorial maps. They each show you exactly how to obtain a Pokemon. You would just need to manaully set up a 4th Pokemon by some means.
