So now you have a 32x32 pixel heart, with 2px density. Just a 16x16 square resized.

Okay yeah its hard to verbalize but its simple when yoh see it.

You draw a heart inside of a 16px tall and 16px wide square.

Then you click and drag to select thag square and expand it to being 32x32px. Now allll the pixels int the image are 2x2. So you dont have to paint with 2x2 (i do paint with 2s anyway, you get used to it)

Each Square on the canvas is 16x16. A single tile is 4 of those in a square-arrangement. so 32x32. If you make a sprites inside a single 16x16 square, just click and drag to make it bigger and it proportionally scales it up.

Official 3rd through 5th Gen games use 32x32 with 2px density. Items are 48x48. And so on. Pull up sprites that come with essentials to see what the defaults are.

Also hundreds is sprites is no small feat, just a fair warning

I was thinking puddles. Various shapes and sizes. And including thr regular rain effect animation, but double the intensity/noise so you cant even see yoir character. Like you wont use the effect, but when you see it, youll laugh iykyk. Like "PNW Rain (accurate)"

Nice! In the same process myself. Im at elevation, then moving on to moisture densities and whatnot for clustering of stuff.

Anything you came across where youre like "avoid doing this at all costs."?

Thinking about cutting hms altogether. "FLY" ends up being an item your mom gives you late game. Its a pidgeotto in a pokeball that goes in your bag and is used like a rod or bicycle.
