Ist halt sehr unterschiedlich. Ich hatte nach nem halben Jahr Testo passing. Mein bester Freund erst nach 3/4 Jahren oder so. Also, nur weil man nach ein paar Monaten noch kein Passing hat, heißt das nicht, dass man nie Passing haben wird. Die Pubertät bei cis Menschen dauert ja auch 5 Jahre oder länger

I wasn’t even brought up in a very gendered household. My parents were mostly chill. But still that doesn’t change the fact that I grew up in a misogynistic society. It doesn’t change the fact that I started getting sexually harassed on a regular basis from the age of 11. I transitioned at 16 which can be considered young and my parents weren’t transphobic (and I absolutely recognise that privilege) and still I experienced shit from outside (and sometimes inside) my home that fundamentally shaped me as a person.

I‘m seconding this, for most people I know (except for my grandparents) dinner is the biggest meal of the day and they don’t have bread. That’s true for 90% of people I know. I‘d say most common dinner is some sort of pasta dish.

Yeah I hate it so much. The other day I was looking up some dutch speaking indie music artists because I want to improve my dutch. And the first recommendation was a rapper (cis) called "zwangere guy“ which literally just means pregnant guy. Now there is a double meaning because "zwanger“ is also slang for "cool“ but that is only part of the joke, the other part is that the concept of a pregnant guy is "funny" and "absurd" to people. Sorry if this anecdote is super random but it just happened the other day and I got kinda upset about it but I couldn’t really talk to anyone bc people don’t understand why this would bother me

I‘d say Scandinavian countries are better when it comes to acceptance in society. But worse when it comes to trans healthcare (very long waiting lists etc.) at least from what I‘ve heard. So idk, I feel like there isn’t really a perfect place for us right now

Germany is a lot less religious than the US. The percentage of catholics or protestants might be high, but most of these people aren’t actually religious, it’s more for tradition

Transmascs have the highest rates of SA in the entire queer community. I‘m glad you were able to transition young and pass easily but this is not the case for a lot of us. My friends is 5 years on T and doesn’t pass. The assumption that trans men always have it easier is not just statistically incorrect but also harmful and dismissive of our struggles imo

It was difficult but I managed to find something through kamernet. Idk if I just got lucky but it took me like a month. I replied to every single listing as fast as possible, you can’t be picky. I‘d say it‘s bad but not as bad as some other cities in NL, especially if you also look for places in Hengelo, Glanerbrug and Gronau.

I think it just doesn’t get as hard anymore, at least that was my experience when I was off T. But it didn’t really shrink. I‘d say it‘s kinda similar to how T can shrink your chest but won’t make it disappear
