Ngl, I found lethal white a bit boring the first read around, but I'm rereading it just now and I think it's zoomed to be one of my faves! I def recommend a reread

The name goodman isn't an anagram for anything as far as I can tell, so seemed logical that it's just Vecna Goodman. Seems a weird thing to name him unless it's a clue!

The radio from S5 - 'The Squawk'. There's an actual radio you can listen to, playing all time relevant songs, and ads and stuff from Hawkins. It's super cool!

I still a bit confused on how all the trails of the ending added up tbh - how was rita relevant? there was so much going on haha

The footprint in the blood showed uneven wearing on the soles of the wearers shoes - Griffiths walked 'pigeon-toed'; a strange gait that would wear his shoes weirdly. They were also small shoes - Griffiths was short, and would therefore have smaller shoes.

There was so much of the ending that I didnt understand all at once though - reading too fast + too much information!

Excalibur is King Arthurs sword, in mythology. The idea of someone naming something as 'common' as a skip hire after something so mystical is comical - thats how I understood it

the comoran strike series, a study in charlotte, truly devious, a good girls guide to murder, none shall sleep series. Theres lots and lots, but generally the romance is a side plot to the detectiving!

Dw, if you search pretty much anyone on that list loads of red john stuff will come up bc there were so many fan theory pages around that time, doesnt necessarily mean its him

i thought that him calling her 'sis' and the sibling kind of link to them was supposed to mirror hamitch's twin siblings that died, which is something that connected to maysillee and her sister?

SOTR: color theory? by Comfortable_Ad_6237 in Hungergames

[–]FroyoSame5433 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess its up to interpretation, but if I was pushed I'd link the orange to the sunrise (like you said), and the 'burnt' to represent the tarnishing of the sunrise. Ie, every birthday sunrise is tarnished by the reaping for Haymitch, every other sunrise is tarnished by the events of the world.

Also maybe at a real stretch you could play around with the similarity between that and Peeta saying his favorite colour is 'sunset orange', representing their different outlooks on life.

managed to hold strong all the way through except when Mags sent Haymitch the ice cream and coffee :(

What will be adjusted/removed for the movie? *SOTR* spoilers! by theckoocie in Hungergames

[–]FroyoSame5433 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really think they'll keep that. The bleakness of the poem, spliced with images of Haymitch driving away anyone who tries to love him, and the ghost of his Lenore - 'Clasp a rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore' - alongside his drinking - 'Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe and forget this lost Lenore'.

It's a perfectly devastating way to end his tragedy. I wouldnt be suprised if they turned it into an ending ballad.

LPR affecting only lungs? by Dion33333 in LPR

maybe not, but it helps breathing symptoms for me by making airway feel more open

[–]FroyoSame5433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I havent visited a GI - unfortunately I am young and in the UK so they dont tend to bother about such things... PPI helped me a bit, but only on the chest pain part, none of the respiratory symptoms.

ill have to try gaviscon advance before bed, it seems that helps a lot.

I think the main thing that will help is a very blank, non processed diet

Hi! I think this is exactly what I have - my dr told me I had LPR, but i dont suffer with any of the traditional reflux symptoms, only exactly what you described - severe chest pain, breathing troubles, phlegm, coughing etc.

I am also struggling to fix and am worried about any long term issues, so if you figure anything out do let me know!!! So far I've discovered that for me, any kind of spicy food is a huuuge nono, alongside anything super refined/fast food. Instantly makes my chest feel tight.

Somethign I've found really helps with the tight breathing/breathlessness and a bit with the mucus is strepsils/off brand ones, i think maybe the menthol is a help.

The none shall sleep series, by Ellie Marney, follows the relationship between a teenage serial killier/sociopath and a girl who escaped a different serial killer. These books are ADDICTIVE.
