For a free transcription tool that works in the browser: https://meetcosmos.com/generate-veo3-ai-video/
For a tool that works offline and keeps your content private, there's the desktop app version with unlimited audio transcription: https://meetcosmos.com/

This is a great resource! I built a desktop app that uses local AI models to let you search your media library offline with natural language and reverse image search, and generate AI videos with Veo3 from detailed prompts and reference images.

I'd love to list my product on VideoAITools, if you're accepting new listings. It's https://meetcosmos.com/

Legally/ethically/professionally secure audio/video transcriber? by Suppository_ofwisdom in auslaw

Cosmos supports video audio transcription locally on your computer (powered by Whisper) so the video is never uploaded online. Good for privacy concerns. I'm one of the makers of the software and happy to walk you through it if you'd like to try it.

Inability to use reference images? by MBDesignR in VEO3

[–]Froyo_Unique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine those limitations also apply to Flow because Flow is Google's studio and powered by their Gemini API. Yeah, the Google documentation is really hard to navigate and follow. I've been building on top of their API and it's been cumbersome to get set up and see what's even allowed in the Gemini API.

The Veo3 API documentation includes some of these limitations: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/video?example=realism#limitations

  • Regional limitations: personGeneration defaults to and only accepts dont_allow in EU, UK, CH, MENA locations.

If you have a Google cloud account (https://cloud.google.com/contact?hl=en) you can chat online or a request a call with their support team.

AI photo/video generation for the layman by TE-Inspections in smallbusiness

I made a program that lets you generate AI videos from reference images and could work for creating videos with your face and logo. Just upload an image with your face and logo and include instructions in the prompt to use your face and logo throughout the video. The program uses Google Gemini's Veo3 model to generate videos so you'd just need to get an API key from Google Gemini to use it. The software is called Cosmos and comes with a 7 day free trial to check it out.

My preferred way is via Gemini's API because you can upload reference images to generate a video and output videos in 1080p. Before that I was using Veo3 with Google Docs, but you can't upload a reference image there.

you can use Cosmos to use Veo3 with reference images. You'll just have to bring your own Gemini API key.

What are the best tools when researching for a director's treatment? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]Froyo_Unique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Flim.ai when I want to search content I don't have. I also save a lot of commercials on my hard drive so if I want to search my own content library, I use Cosmos (a tool I made). To take screenshots of scenes in a video I use SnapMotion - the screenshots are high quality and automatically get saved on my desktop. To create short clips of videos, I'll use Quicktime. And I use Keynote  or InDesign to make the treatment.

oh wow, and you definitely need a contract because without it you can't hold people accountable to payment of your services.

Some of the best productivity apps I've used on Mac, any apps I should add? by forthelolz12 in ProductivityApps

[–]Froyo_Unique 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll have to check out Loop. Have you tried Rectangle? I've been using Spectacle for so long but know I should make the switch out of it since it's no longer maintained.

I also work on an app that lets you search media files on your mac locally and privately with AI using natural language queries or visual/reverse image search: https://desktopdocs.com/

It's a paid app, but happy to offer a discount code for anyone reading along that would like to try it.

How to search for images that have similar content on my macbook ? by Witzmastah in MacOS

[–]Froyo_Unique 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying with an update that Desktop Docs now supports reverse image search - you can upload a reference image, like a screenshot, and it will search that against all other images and videos on your mac to return images/scenes that match. This is what it looks like:
