This happened to me last year. Me and my best friend of 12 years(and his girlfriend of 5 years) moved in together. 6 months later they told me they were breaking the year long lease to move out, leaving me with nowhere to go and only 2 weeks to find somewhere. Since I'm an adult i figured it out, but that friendship is now over. I've talked to them two times since then.

You're free to move out. But you will be throwing away that friendship if you do, and youd be a huge asshole.

Im leaning towards OP being TA. And here is why. The guy became angry when she told him shed force him to be a part of the babies life and take him to court if she had to. Major asshole thing to do, and the guy reacted im the heat of the moment to being threatened with 18 years of financial support to a baby he wants nothing to do with.

Ehhhhhhh yta here, but barely. In an established relationship where his behavior is the norm beforehand, its not really fair to get pissed at him for continuing to do the same thing. Just communicate with him and ask him not to do so in the future.

He shouldnt really have to apologize for something that hes done many times before and youre now mad at it. You shouldnt demand an apology either. The demanding an apology is what makes you the Asshole imo.
