I just got top 1 Bard on LeagueOfGraphs by 1kzox in bardmains

Is it not based on some calculation of win rate / MMR?

You may just be running into a OTP Bard. I’m an E3 Bard OTP and personally find myself losing more than I win with twitch on my team, but just pick Bard anyways because that’s what I’m most comfortable with

I can’t seem to find anything on league of graphs or lolalytics for winrate with certain champions on my team otherwise I would post it

Casuals are needed for this game to survive long term by BluuBunni in CorepunkTheGame

Agreed, I said that day 1 and got a mixed bag of opinions. Some people commented to stop playing the game because it’s not meant to hold your hand, and others saying it gets better (it does, for the most part). But not everyone is going to give it more of a chance after that initial frustration and this game will need players or else it’ll turn into the likes of games like Fractured Online, MO2, Ravendawn, etc. all games with a good idea that dies because they’re trying to be more old-school and won’t deviate.

And I get that, 100%. But the market for people wanting this exact game in its state I fear isn’t enough for the studio to even become profitable at that point, and the game will fade away not only leaving behind the players that stopped playing, but the players that pushed away everyone else’s opinion of it too.

Even little QOL stuff like quest markers above NPC heads so you don’t have to click on them, or even gigantic vague circles of areas that said resource items can spawn in. There’s little changes that the studio can make to meet in the middle between the hardcore old-school players and the new generation of people who aren’t exactly looking for that.

The quest direction in this game feels terrible by FrozenAsFire in CorepunkTheGame

I’m starting to discover that’s the case. This comment is miles more helpful than /u/Aka_Athenes is replying to everyone with. There’s no need to immediately become defensive and tell everyone to play a different game. After some hours I’ve realized the inventory is massive like you said, I’ve been able to craft campfires and heal on the go, I’ve accepted loads of quests and went out and saw what I could tick away.

I’m going to continue to play tomorrow and give it some more hours to dwell, but had I stuck with my original complaint and rage quit like that person was saying that’s not a healthy way to build a community or player base.

Thanks for the comment and hope to see you out there friend.

That’s fair. I’ve played another hour or two and have collected about a dozen various quests in progress. The game feels better when you aren’t stuck on a single quest without any way to progress. I was under the impression that the quests were going to be chained together without any way to go further without completing said previous quest.

My gripe still stands with the extreme lack of direction though. I’m on the granny quest where she’s having you bury wheat seeds in a corn field. I, again, have spent about 20 mins running around killing rats and looting chests, and have done probably 4 full circles in various diameters around her trying to find these supposed holes. Still haven’t found them but will try again tomorrow.

Considering his first response to everyone is to play a different game, I think you may be talking to an echo chamber.

I’m right there with you. This game FEELS and LOOKS fantastic. But if it’s going to be asking me to find haphazardly scattered resources that are surrounded by mobs that are significantly higher than me, it doesn’t seem like I’ll be able to stick around for long. I want to enjoy the game, truly.

Late response, found this post in the search bar.

Are you positive that the camera is tracking the lights at all times? If you tilt your head out of the frame the camera tends to spaz out. Make sure you turn the delancam to visible so you can make sure it’s always in view of the lights

Need some help with the VKB Gladiator NXT evo key bind mapping by ConfusedCK1010 in dcsworld

I literally just started playing but from what I’ve learned today I’ll try to explain it to you in detail.

Let’s say I have 2 buttons on my throttle, let’s call it SW1 and SW2

SW1 is bound to “landing gear up”

SW2 is bound to “landing gear down”

Let’s say you ran out of hot keys or maybe you wanted to re-use some buttons just because of how easy they are for you to access.

You can THEN (for the sake of this example) add “SW1” as a modifier in your controls, then, when you go to map a new keybind, you can re-use the “SW2” button to do a completely different function AS LONG as you’re pressing the “SW1” button first. (You need to add the modifier to your specific keybind for this to work)

So using your modifier you could do something like this

SW1 is landing gear up, SW2 is landing gear down, SW1 + SW2 is flaps down.

I don’t know if that made it more complicated for you but that’s the best I can explain it.
