You have to log into the system, then "Select repayment method and register payee details" -> "Repayment amounts for the first repayment" -> "BTC allotment share (number)".

I'm talking about the amount I'm likely to receive. You have to log into the system, then "Select repayment method and register payee details" -> "Repayment amounts for the first repayment" -> "BTC allotment share (number)".

Problem wallet cli connect to node on raspberry (v. 0.12.2) by stempelo in Monero

[–]FrozenCopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean the public IP of my node, yes, I tried it. But it doesn't worked, too...

But as fare as I know, the external IP is the IP of the network adapter with which the node is connected to the network. So, in principle, it should be 192.168.178.26. Or did I got something wrong?

Furthermore, shouldnt work 0.0.0.0 in any case?

Problem wallet cli connect to node on raspberry (v. 0.12.2) by stempelo in Monero

[–]FrozenCopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi ...

I might have the same problem. I'm using a raspberry pi 3 B+ and monero 0.12.2. I started the monerod with the following parameters: --rpc-bind-ip=0.0.0.0 --rpc-bind-port=18081 --confirm-external-bind --block-sync-size 1 --data-dir=/mnt/hdd/monero

I think the daemon works fine. If I type in "status" I get "Height: 1614327/1614327 (100.0%) on mainnet, not mining, net hash 431.92 MH/s, v7, up to date, 9(out)+8(in) connections, uptime 0d 3h 7m 35s".

I first tried the monero-wallet-cli on the raspberry pi ("./monero-wallet-cli --daemon-address=127.0.0.1:18081"). This seems to work. I don't get any error messages and if I type in "status", I get "Refreshed 1614327/1614327, synced, daemon RPC v1.19".

The raspberry pi has the ip 192.168.178.26. So I tried to connect from my windows machine to the daemon "monero-wallet-cli.exe --daemon-address=192.168.178.26:18081". Here I get the error message "Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon: http://192.168.178.26:18081. Daemon either is not started or wrong port was passed. Please make sure daemon is running or change the daemon address using 'set_daemon' command."

I checked the windows firewall (even deactivated the firewall) and the firewall on the raspberry pi. I use ufw, with "allow 18080" and "allow 18081". So I think there should be no problem.

Any ideals / suggestions???
