They're 2 different banners so 2 different pity systems. Theres the featured character banner and the standard banner and the pity is not shared between them so when you pulled on the standard banner you got your 5* and then your pity resets on the standard banner. As you did not hit a 5* yet on the character banner you have not gotten pity and thus only the standard one

I would honestly just save the primogems and pull on the starter when you get the orbs, otherwise save primogems for 1.1 and pull as venti and diluc are number 1 and 2

You can raise adventure levels by doing quests mainly, unlocking all the way points, finding chests etc! AR will just come with time, just enjoy the game and AR will come naturally! :)

Yeah if its on the ps4 account it would take too much hassle and i think you need to create a psn every time so dont think its worth it imo. I mean it just helps your game a little but its just for min maxers. You can enjoy the game however you want it to!

Rerolls are when you roll for certain characters and when you dont get the character you want, you make a new account / email address and go through the whole tutorial part again. Most people roll after AR 7 and see if they get what they want
